They didn't carry natural mouthwash but the lovely staffer at check-out gave me the name of another store just up the street to check out. I also purchased some muesli and cookies from this store and must say both were fabulous purchases! The muesli had just the perfect amount of crunch and the right amount of nuts and raisins for my taste.The cookie I got was a chocolate macadamia which was really addictive. So general consensus? It's actually located near the shopping centre of Haarlem, on a main side street. I was so joyful that Dutchman brought me home tons of Gluten-free items, because I am a big Ekoplaza fan. My favorite item on the list is the buckwheat cereal. So much healthier, than eating cornflakes. I also love their vegan bouillon, it does wonders in a soup or if your preparing some kick ass beans. It will make a die hard meat-eater think you actually put meat in there, but little do they know that was not the case. The Gluten Free waffles are also slamming too.

And I did indeed - it wasn't the alcohol free solution I was hoping for, but they did have something available, at a reasonable price which I purchased and also got their loyalty card. I also noticed a massive selection of organic cosmetics (made in Germany) but didn't purchase any. Also their organic food was a lot more expensive in price than EkoPlaza, so didn't purchase that either. Where this shop excels is in things like natural oils and Himalayan salt lamps and all the other "natural" stuff that EkoPlaza doesn't have in stock. What I want to congratulate them for is the Calendula Products Range. The first store that uses the benefits of this magic plant. I have my suplies from Bucharest but I am happy that I discovered I could buy them in the Netherlands. Why am I praise them? Because a cheap calendula cream can work wonders on everything, especially because it accelarates healing of almost any type of wound. I use it for everything and in maximum 2 days I see the effects. Very small indeed but packed to the ceiling with more variety of food ware than you can imagine. If you need something from a recipe and you've never heard of it before: Mabrouk has it. The most kind and cheerfull guys are working here, working their butts off and fast as humanly possible :) The check-out line goes through the shop and is sometimes very very long (almost the whole shop) but don't you worry, you'll be next to pay in minutes. Also: do come here when your budget is low, the prices are really moderate. I would pass Mabrouk multiple times, completely oblivious of what a a gem it is. I decided to wonder on in here out of curiousity, and loved everybit of it. My eyes lit up over so many of their products. The only downer about this market, it can get real tight in here. Never the less, Mabrouk has some great products worth checking out and the majority of the items are price reasonable. Surprisingly you will also find a few gluten-free products in here as well.
