They work in sync like a band that's been playing together for years, lapping around and making sure all patients are engaged and progressing through the various treatments/exercises in their respective treatment plans. I came here in August with a ruptured Achilles that I had surgery to repair, and walked out (literally!) just a few months later, and far earlier than the surgeon had expected. That's a true testament to the time and attention everyone here gave to me, referring frequently to my chart and the well-taken notes, gradually adding weight and/or repetitions on, and mixing in new exercises when appropriate. I also really appreciated the overall vibe here. Good music is always playing (could be 90s grunge, pop country, or classic rock, depends on who takes over the playlist!) staff are all friendly with the patients and with each other, and there's a great mix of folks in here to chat with. The walls are decorated with staff photos, pics of their kids, etc. and little league team photos from the teams they sponsor! Short version: It's about as fun as physical therapy can be! I am so appreciative to everyone here, and although I hope I never need PT again, I'd return here without hesitation! Thank you!

After experiences with larger fertility clinics where I felt like just a number, this office has been completely different -- here, you are treated like a human being. For the first time in this journey, I actually feel happy instead of stressed. Everything has been so smooth, organized, and seamless, which has made such an emotional process feel manageable and even hopeful. What truly sets this practice apart is that Dr. Zapantis personally performs all procedures himself. He takes the time to answer every question thoroughly and even draws diagrams to ensure you fully understand your treatment plan. He creates individualized plans for each patient and works closely with you and your spouse to make sure everyone feels comfortable and confident. He has also been incredibly flexible and accommodating with my husband's work schedule, which has meant so much to us. Because this is a smaller practice, nothing feels cookie-cutter or like a one-size-fits-all approach. Every treatment plan is truly personalized, and you can feel how much thought and care goes into every decision. Everyone here goes above and beyond -- you never have to worry about being left waiting for a phone call or email. Communication is prompt, clear, and reassuring, which makes such a difference during a process that can otherwise feel overwhelming. Priscilla is always quick to respond and so helpful. Joyce is consistently kind and welcoming every time we walk through the door. Sandra patiently answers all of my questions, reassures us, and even gives me a hug when I need it most. Kim and Susan have also been wonderful to work with. The entire team is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly makes you feel like family. Fertility treatment can be an emotional journey, but this office makes you feel heard, supported, and cared for every step of the way. I am so grateful to be under their care and highly recommend them to anyone navigating infertility.

Every single staff member from the front desk to the staff that placed me on ice and heat was considerate and caring. They all even knew my name. I've had multiple spinal fusions over the years related from two separate car accidents. Each time treated a different part of my lower back. In 2022, I had a male therapist who worked with me closely and adjusted my exercises and weights as i progressed. Towards the end of my program, this was just post COVID where we still wore masks, I had difficulty breathing on two days back to back. The second day, they insisted that I go straight to the hospital and after spending 3 days in Winthrop, I had a stent for an 85% blockage in the widowmaker. They saved my life. Unfortunately, years later, after I was struck from behind while stopped at a traffic light, I had to have an additional lumbar spinal fusion as well as a laminectomy. Most recently, I had the pleasure of working with Christian in East Meadow stars. We started a month after surgery and I went for 3 months. He started working with me with stretches and light weights while progressing each visit. By the time my 12 weeks were up, I was much stronger, had better stability and the knowledge to continue at home. Stars was by far, the most involved PT facility with updated equipment, a clean facility and great hands on care. I hope I won't ever need physical therapy in the future but out of the 8 to 10 facilities I've gone too over a 14 year period, stars was by far the best. They will remain my number one choice and I highly recommend them at least for all spinal rehabilitation needs. Thank you Christian Pineda as well as the rest of the therapists there.
