Booked appointments online for my husband and myself. This was our first time so we opted for the IM instead of IV due to the difference in price and not knowing the type of results we would get. We were both doing IM NAD+ and different add-ons for each of us. Upon arrival, we were placed in a room together with paperwork to fill out. There were several walk-ins arriving at the same time, so the facility seemed to be getting busy as soon as they opened. I informed the girl that we booked online and the services we booked. She returned with IV start supplies. Paperwork was filled out and left on the side table. The girl was going from room to room- she never introduced herself and did not appear to be wearing a name tag with any identifying information (ie, name, credentials, etc). She re-entered the room and told us we could no do the selected add-ons with the NAD+ infusion. I informed her again that we were not doing any infusions, but IM injectable services only. She came back with 3 syringes on a small tray and administered one to me. I asked her, "which one was that?", to which she replied, "what were you supposed to be getting?". I told her for a third time what services we were supposed to receive and that we had booked online. I glanced down at the remaining syringes and asked what they were. She replied that they were the NAD+ injections. The amount appeared very small so I asked if they were the 100mg and she said no, they were 50mg. I explained again that we booked 100mg NAD+ injections each. She replied that she would have to "go draw up more". When she returned, she administered my other injection and then my husband's two injections. I was supposed to receive the MIC IM as an add-on and my husband was to receive Glutathione. I found it strange that the red colored syringe was administered to my husband because this certainly would have been the MIC. Paperwork was still on side table, no patient information was ever verified- not name, date of birth, or allergies. Though I felt uneasy and unsure about the injections received and the quality of care, we paid and left. When my husband received the text receipt, he selected the sad face emoji, indicating the visit did not seem satisfactory. Immediately, he began receiving text messages inquiring about the visit. He explained that the employee did not introduce herself or tell us her roll, did not verify patient identifiers and that we were unsure if we received the correct injections. It was determined that the MIC injection was in fact the red colored syringe that had been wrongfully administered to my husband and I had actually received his Glutathione injection. However, the person texting with my husband continued to defend the actions of the employee, insisting that "all of our nurses are great at starting IV's but they're not perfect". Which was weird because we did not receive any IV services. Then he went on to attempt to explain to my husband that "IV's are administered with fluids and IM's are injected intramuscularly", which we are well aware. The person corresponding with my husband eventually identified himself as Brandon, the CEO and owner of the facility. Rather than acknowledge the unsafe practice of failing to verify a patient and allergies and then proceeding to incorrectly administer medications, he informed my husband that he would refund the money for the add-on injections, which he did. However, I do not think we will seek any further services with this provider. read more
