You can pay $5.00 + tax to view the Report. This is as safe as it's going to get during COVID. Highly recommend if you or family members need an x-ray or ultrasound. Go early - they open at 8:00. My visits here have far exceeded those experienced elsewhere.

During each visit, the team at CCMSU Medical Imaging never ceased to amaze me with their talent and professionalism. The wait time isn't that long and I was able to see the technician in 20 mins for my ultrasound. Farah, my technician was very nice and friendly. She explained what she was doing every step of the way and even let me take a video of the ultrasound for my husband since they only allow one person at a time because of Covid. I haven't had an ultrasound in decades. My doctor asked that I call Alton Towers X-ray and Ultrasound. This place beat me to it. A female staff member got my doctor's requisition and called me to set up an appointment, which I appreciated. The woman on the phone was terrific. I asked for a 10 am appointment. I'm thinking that I should have made it earlier, but it was fine. She left it up to me in such a casual, professional way. She let me know how to prepare for my appointment. It included fasting for at least twelve hours, drinking a glass of water before dropping by, and coming five to ten minutes early. This procedure was coming back to me. She asked if I wanted a text message a day before my appointment to conform my presence. I said yes. It worked like a charm. This place is located at Alton Towers in a medical building, steps away from Sung Ji Chang Fun. Had my appointment been later, I could have broken my fast by ordering breakfast from here! The x-ray and ultrasound place is on the second floor. I had to take the elevator up, which was a bit foreign for me during this pandemic. Hand sanitizer dispensers are in front of the elevator doors on both the main and second floors. This building has three floors, so I assume that it's consistent on all of them. I walked in. I like when doors are open and you don't need to touch them. The waiting room looked small, but it was clean. I met the nice woman whom I spoke with on the phone. She was equally as nice in person. I said my name. She looked at my health card. She then asked me to have a seat. My appointment was roughly ten minutes later than the start time. It wasn't bad. When it was my turn, I was led to a change area. Paper gowns are so much fun! I put mine on and the sonographer called my name. I was then led into a room to have my ultrasound done. It took thirty minutes. It was kind of nice taking breaths and holding them for certain images. I felt relaxed for most of my ultrasound It sure beats work! I also felt like dough being kneaded with the device that she had. I had gel slathered on me. Fun! When it was over, I got to clean myself up, change, and head home. Both the receptionist and sonographer were nice and competent. I had a decent experience. I liked how reassuring they were about what steps were about to happen. I don't recommend coming here often, but if you do need an ultrasound, this place is perfect. (108)

Receptionist was always clear about what I needed to do prior to my appointment (ex: fast 8 hours, no water after midnight). They know their stuff. Sonographer was very patient, and even pleasant to work with. Which is good since I was there for about 1.5 hours. Place was clean, not overly sterile. Location was conveniently close to Christie subway station. Yes, I would recommend this reliably good business to a friend or family member.

I had been in hospital for an extended period and was sent to the Copper Creek location to have an ultrasound of my veins due to pain. the technician immediately located blood clots, had me wait while the radiologist read them and they sent me to the Emergency department. I brought my mom here for a Brain MRI on 2025-12-03 at 21:40. We were told to arrive 30 mins…read moreearlier. The MRI is to the right of the entrance. Schroeder Ambulatory Centre is a non--profit community health centre. The MRI section is rented by St. Michael's Hospital until Feb 2026, to accommodate their newly arrived MRI machine. After Feb, they will transport it downtown Toronto, to St. Michael's Hospital. They are open 07:00 to 23:00! My mom was lucky because the next appointment downtown Toronto would have been Jun 2026 but because this machine newly arrived, there were relatively few bookings so she got an appointment within 1 week, but late at night in the next city, Richmond Hill! Good thing we came early. We were not told that at night, only the P4 entrance is open with no receptionist! The "MyChart" instructions, if you read it, said you can enter from P1 or P4. We tried P1 and it was locked! We finally arrived at the MRI reception area at 21:30, after driving around finding the proper entrance. There was no one around to ask for instructions late at night. A technologist just brought in another patient in at 21:30, who was scheduled for 21:30; they were also lost. They fetched us at 21:32. My mom changed into a hospital gown and was brought in at 21:54, after the previous patient finished. The two technicians not not that friendly. I suspect that they are tired working a might shift. My mom finally finished at 22:20! Very late for any senior. I have to deduct 1 star for poor instructions. The centre was was new, clean, and brightly lit. The centre has free WiFi. The place is wheelchair accessible. There are gender-neutral washrooms, which are also wheelchair accessible. There is free parking at the centre's private parking lot. Review 2025-252
