Great place! We were seen immediately as a walk-in. All of the staff were very friendly. Dr. Bickell is a really cool guy.

Waiting area: Clean. Organized. Cozy. Properly spaced for social distancing. Waited for about 3 minutes after check-in to be seen (mind you, I was also about 5 minutes late to my appointment - never underestimate Pickerington traffic!) Pre-exam imaging: normal exam (including the air in eye part). During this exam, I could overhear their team being extremely patient with a kiddo who was scared of the machines. I was impressed to hear the methods they used to calm the kiddo, build trust, and help the kiddos through their exam. I would say this place is kid friendly and they give lollipops post exam! With doctor: Dr. Pipo had a booming personality. He was energetic, kind, and really reviewed my case prior to examining me further. You know when docs ask "which is better? One or two?" And you can't tell the difference? He actually explained what the differences were while determining which corrections were needed for my eyes. Post exam: Laura (specialist) helped me with selecting my glasses. I told her the style I typically like and she brought ~10 pairs to try (which all met my preference along with a few fun frames). She helped me narrow the frames down and was extremely patient with me. 30-mins later, I picked the frames that we both agreed- totally matched me and my personality. After selecting the frames she helped me to assess the appropriate additions to make for my lenses and explain insurance coverage. Jessica (front desk) helped me with selecting the appropriate contacts covered by insurance. Overall- Fantastic staff. Fantastic facility. I look forward to meeting my new frames and going back again for my annual in 2022.

Purchased $400.00 Kate Spade glasses Oct 2024. Never a big fan of the glasses thought they would…read moregrow on me. Glasses became cloudy and could never keep them clean. Finally got around to going back with glasses simply asking they remove the anti glare and buff my lenses. Was told sorry been more than a year buy a new pair nothing we can do for you. Well these are glorified 400.00 reading glasses and the response in my opinion for a local eye doctor was pretty pathetic. I always try to shop local instead of big box but in this case big box out shined. Went to Americas Best. cleaned up Pickerington eyecare glasses for free. Still cloudy but buffed out the scuff for me. Will never use or refer to anyone ever again.

Will stop asking you what upgrades you want.. and will start telling you it's what you're getting with no good explanation as to why. somehow spent $200 a pair when the tag price was $60. I could read every sales tactic and would say no 5 times but would be bombarded with more information that didn't make sense to me. made to wait extended periods of time while sales person stared at the screen or wandered around the store. Sleazy tactics. At that point you'll just want out of that prison and they'll add whatever charges they want. "I added the insurance" oh really because it says they already come with insurance? But sure, add it without asking me. (I read the receipt in the end, was only flashes the screen while sitting there before being told the total.) When I came back for pickup the sale shark ran out the door while I was waiting for a few minutes to pickup my glasses. I verbally announced that "you would think they would want to help me pick up my glasses seeing me standing here and just having sold them to me." I made your commission check bigger but you couldn't acknowledge me AT ALL after making your sales. "Oh she's already clocked out" but was she 5 minutes ago when I got Here? Maybe I'm being over dramatic but all around I didn't feel comfortable in this store. go try on in the store then order online, skip the fees of the middle man.

We had a humorous conversation both during the initial exam and with the eye doctor. This is a team that works well together, and you can tell by the end product which was a very pleasurable experience. I would give them 5 stars, but I was a little disappointed by the hours of operation. They're open after 5:00 p.m. only 3 days a week and closed on weekends, which made it difficult for me to schedule an appointment to accommodate my work schedule. But that isn't enough for me to consider anyone else. I was very satisfied with my visit and will be sending the rest of my family when the time comes.

Someone text me and asked me what day and time would work best for me I put in the time never a reply back so after two weeks, I had to call them to get an appointment . The second time I text to request an appointment I was told they could not schedule me an appointment because I owe the balance on my contacts that I had paid and I explained to the girl that that was already paid. She looks in my account and goes sorry it was paid I guess I will take this alert off there. Sorry.. Third time I called or text I was having a vision problem and called to schedule an appointment. I knew something was wrong with my eyes. I wanted to get in to see the doctor sent a text. No response set another text. I did reply back when and what time I put any time will be fine no reply back . I called the following week. The young lady said oh I got it . It was checked off that it was done sorry . My reply to her was . So sorry you just lost a patient.
