It is quite odd having this type of shop in such a residential area but it is based on a main road and on a side street so it is very accessible. There are two entrances to the shop - the main one has no disabled access so they have a separate entrance which has disabled access. The shop has quite odd opening hours and i cannot recall them so it is best to phone before calling because sometimes there is also a note on the door saying back in 15 minutes and the like. The shop is quite large and inside are all the different frames and canvases you could have your blinds made up in - the frames are showcased on the walls and i am amazed at how many different types of blinds you can get. There is an impressive array of different canvases for you to choose from too. You can have the fitting service which costs more but well worth it - the guy or one of his employees will come and size up your windows and then go away with your order and then come and fit them when they are ready - this is the best way as it avoids costly mistakes. My blinds were beautifully done and the service was really good. They arent cheap but the quality is lovely and my blinds still look new after 4 years. The staff are very conscientious and hard working and very nice and polite.

After making two appointments to come and fit the blinds and several telephone calls I decided to wait until they got in touch .I gave them every opportunity to come and fit them or get in touch but after several days I decided to go and ask for my deposit back at which time I was told that they had been trying to get in touch with me all day. At this point things turned very nasty. and needless to say I did not get back my deposit. Stay away from this shop is my advice.

Quite a useful little store in the busy kirkgate market. They sell a good range of curtains,…read morecushion covers, duvet covers, tea towels and bedding, etc. Their range is quite extensive and decent quality at low prices. They also sell the pads for cushions and pillows and duvets which is a plus that you can get them all under the one roof. The staff are lovely and friendly and very eager to please - i have even had a couple of quid nocked off just because i smiled and the guy serving me said id made his day. The store is easy to find in kirkgate but if you want to go inside the little store it isnt easy to manouvre as its so small so its best just to ask the assistant to show you what you want.
