I asked Magdale Curtains (henceforward MC) to make a Roman blind. MC measured up. The blind was…read moremade quickly and fitted by MC. The blind doesn't fit properly. There is a significant gap each side, where the edge of the top half of the window pane is visible. Also, the blind drops 5 cm short of a small ledge where I wanted it to fall. Also, spaces between the slats are unequal. Top 2 spaces are 27cm, then 30, then 34.5, then 37, then 20.5cm. 9 other Roman blinds I have are equidistantly slatted. After fitting, MC said the blind had to be narrower because of the fabric pattern and because the window isn't square. Other Roman blinds I've had made, from my measurements, fit perfectly well. When contacting MC, they said "on the odd occasion that a customer is not 100% satisfied, they'll happily put things right". I then asked MC if they would do that in this case - twice. There was no reply. Small margins matter. I paid MC £220 for a blind of imperfect fit and odd construction. That's frustrating. I'll not use again."

The service in the shop on Wigan Road was friendly and efficient, and they came out to measure up when they said they would. In fact the guy who came to do the job was great, offering us some really good advice about what to go for. Once the order had been placed it was fitted with the minimum of fuss or bother. All in all, we had an excellent experience here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else who needed a blind.

Found them on here but found there website and a couple reviews on google. After viewing there website (i think its digitaldivisionltd.com - not aerialsolutions!) i got a good impression and figured they knew what they were talking about. Turns out they do and best of all its a family business so you will always deal with the same people. I made the mistake of calling one of these "free estimate" 0800 numbers a few years back and when i rang them up for a call back (dodgy work!) apparently "that engineers no longer works with us" so we cant do anything for you was the response! He was subcontracted or something?! Anayway you cant go wrong with these fellas. I cannot rate them highly enough. The only downside i would say is that they are always busy (a sign of good workmanship!) so sometimes you have to wait a few days for an appointment. Worth the wait mind

After calling the company for a…read morequote, three days later i had a representative come to my house and measure up, i was given a price which i was happy with as i had shopped around. After i agreed with the details provided..the fitting commenced a week later and they were done within three days!!!! Im absolutly delighted with the quality of the windows.. My home feels warmer and cant hear what goes on outside.. I was given a guarantee for 10 years so im all made up!!!
