My main concern was finding someone to do quality work. I turned to Yelp and came across Jazzy's Handyman Services. Okay, so he had 5 reviews, all 5 stars. I figured let me call to see if he could help me out. Shawn answered and was very nice and super accommodating. He advised he could help me out with this job and it won't take long, he could swing by in the evening. He showed up and did a fantastic job! He also helped me fix a problem I had with a bedroom door. He's detailed, professional, neat, and extremely kind! I am always skeptical to hire people to do work in my home because most of my experiences have left a lot to be desired. But I'm very impressed with Shawn. It's not everyday you find someone in this line of work that cares about quality, is honest, fast, reliable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. When he came on Friday, he requested two additional days and increased the quoted price by $150. I agreed to allow two additional days. The individual did not show up the following day and didn't notify me. The day after he promised to come by 9:30am, but again didn't show up. Eventually he came back on Monday (three hours late) after I threatened with a law suit, and again said that the job required more than he thought and that he couldn't complete it. He eventually returned about a half of the deposit. Overall, he was a complete waste of time and unprofessional. The quoted price was higher than the price offered by another firm that actually completed the job after he refused.

Vitalii came unprepared to complete the job I hired him for and kept telling me it was because I told him I have LVP flooring when he saw with his own eyes it wasn't LVP prior to doing the project when he came to give me a quote. He did half the job I paid him for, and said he would come back to finish the job at a later date. I paid him in full (completely my mistake) and followed up multiple times to schedule a date and time on when to expect him to finish the project. His response was he would have to stop by following the other jobs he was working on at strange times like late in the evening, and was wishy washy and vague on what day he would ever be stopping by again. It's funny because it certainly wasn't that complicated scheduling him to come out to start the job, finishing it is a different story though. He left a mess for me to clean up when he finished half the work he was paid for, including baseboards filled with nails left on the floor of the room he was working in, and unplugging my garage door to use my miter saw and then not plugging it back in or letting anyone know he even unplugged the garage door. It's really a shame because finding a reliable, quality handyman is so difficult. I was hoping that Vitalii being responsive spoke to his integrity and reliability. I was mistaken on that assumption. I would not recommend.

I have used Alex as a handing man for years . He used to be exceptionally punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and always did a perfect job. I could never find one thing wrong with his work . In the past year, his work ethic has declined. He would tell me he could start a certain day weeks would go by, and no follow-up. I felt that I had to chase him to get him to come and do work. He was doing work, just what was most important and profitable. I finally decided to get him to paint my house . When I called him to let him know my concerns, he came over and we walked through everything that was done. He had given me an astronomical price to paint, but I decided to go with him nonetheless because I knew what a wonderful job he did. What I didn't know is that he was sending a team over. When we walked around and looked at the job he told me he didn't realize they were going to do what they did. He admitted the job was sloppy. No nail holes were filled and everything was painted, including an extension cord, plastic hooks for wreaths on my front door , soffit vents. Everything painted! They left all of my things from my front and back porch out in the rain so everything is Rusted now and Faded while it was brand new. I wanted all trim painted white but they just painted everything the same color except one strip around the roof. Since when is door trim not trim? The past few jobs Alex has done for me are less than stellar. I can't open my bathroom medicine cabinet because I bought a light that hangs down in front of it. As a handyman, he should have noticed that before installing it . Then he installed a front porch light that was too close to the overhang. He just threw away the top part of the light because it didn't fit and didn't worry about it. He never said a word I had to ask him where the top piece was. Small things mean a lot and I did not want my entire house painted over every single cord every single hose every single box every single everything completely painted over . I was forced to pay him exactly what he told me to pay him or he threatened to put a lien on my house. Is this who you want doing work for you? He comes across as such a nice kind guy but look out.

Meleek is a hard working, honest, respectful perfectionist with a crew that has his values. I met Meleek when he was creating a new bathroom for my neighbor and when I saw how well it turned out, I got a very reasonable/competitive quote and he began my master bathroom remodeling. He installed all new gorgeous wall and floor tile, new cabinets with underneath lighting, contemporary quartz countertop, 2 shower heads, a ceiling shower that changes colors, and all having handheld wands. He did an outstanding job and I know you would be extremely happy hiring his company to do ALL of your remodeling....
