Unfortunately, my mother became ill and was hospitalized after just one caregiver visit, but I continued to use their services while I cared for my mom when she was on Hospice Care. I was able to meet every caregiver and found them all to be very professional and pleasant, they helped me with whatever care I needed that day, even if it was just to keep an eye on my mom while she slept so that I could run errands or rest. Since the type of care for my mom varied from day to day, they were very helpful with scheduling visits until my mom passed away. After my mom passed away, Alan sent me a gorgeous flower arrangement along with a very thoughtful and caring email. I highly recommend Indecare for your loved ones, having a caregiver with me during my mom's final days was very comforting and I'm grateful to have had them with me during this difficult time.

My family decided that taking on that burden ourselves would be too stressful and difficult, so we contacted Care Scope to provide 24 hour care for my grandmother. This company is absolutely wonderful. I cannot stress how helpful their service has been. Setting up an in home aide was as simple as a single phone call, and they were able to send someone over immediately. We chose to have 24 hour help, but you can change this depending on your individual needs. Care Scope will arrange for aides to come so that you always have coverage when you need it, even if it's a holiday, overnight, or the weekend. Every single aide has been so compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable. Like most families in this situation, we were not prepared to handle all aspects of caring for a family member that was dying. Just having that extra set of hands was unspeakably helpful, especially since every single one knew how to change diapers, give sponge baths, and transfer patients with minimal strain/stress/pain. Additionally, it was really nice to have their company and when things went sour (which happened a lot) the aides kept their cool and helped work through whatever situation had come up. Care Scope employees can help you with any care giving duties, provide company, and help out with some light work around the house. Also, whenever something happened, our aides stayed and made sure that the situation settled even if that put them past their shift without a single complaint. I cannot speak highly enough of this company. I would recommend Care Scope to anyone looking for some additional help when caring for a sick loved one. No one showed up on Sunday. I called a caregiver I know who sent the name of another caregiver to drive to take care of my mom. Fiji prefers people with dementia because they can get away with abuse.

Caregivers of Land Park's wonderful caregivers have demonstrated all three! We contracted with Michelle and CGOLP several months ago when I could no longer give mom all the care she needed as her medical issues progressed. Michelle hand-picked Martha and Claudia for mom and they were so wonderful! Super different in personalities, but both a great fit for mom and quickly developed a sense of rapport and trust with her, as she got used to needing care from people other than me. Our need for care increased, and Michelle and Martha in particular worked hard to accommodate our every request. We had a few bumps here and there as you would expect with any company where you are changing schedules on a regular basis, but it's always worked out and Michelle goes above and beyond, in my opinion, to accommodate and help families. We started needing some 24-hour care so we could get away on some respite vacation time and extra caregivers were brought in. Again, a few little bumps, and one in particular not quite as mature as the others, but I believe that they all helped mom to the best of their abilities and clearly wanted us all to be happy with their care. It put our minds at ease and we were able to relax and get renewed. Now that mom has transitioned to assisted living, we so value the relationship that she has built with Martha in particular, that we are continuing to request her twice or three times a week to help her with the transition and be our "eyes" and "ears." When we go out of town on vacation, this relationship will particularly be helpful for us, as Martha is a wonderful communicator and responds promptly to any questions or issues we have. If you're looking for a locally-based, independent resource to help you and your loved ones with great care, I can't say enough about Caregivers of Land Park!

He called and told me what time to expexct him and was there right on time. He brought the equipment in and exxplained how to use to two eighty year olds so that when he was finished we both felt confident that we would have no trouble with it. The other thing about Oz is that he has an amazing personality. Within five minutes of meeting him I felt like I'd known him forever and he was one of my best friends. It truly seems that his joy in life is helping people in need. He gets five stars but i'd give him five hundred if I could.

I was stressed as I was dealing with a lot. I googled and researched caregiver agencies in the Elk Grove/Sacramento area. I was nervous having a complete stranger watch my loved one. When I called, I was referred to someone (unfortunately, I forgot her name) but she was super helpful and empathetic. Eventually, a Care Designer named Victoria Roberts, came to evaluate my loved one and helped with all the paperwork. She was professional, asked all the right questions, and seemed very experienced. She started her search to get a caregiver come 3x/week right away, since I was on a time crunch. After discussing the situation with the rest of my family, they decided they could handle the situation and that we didn't need to spend the money. I felt horrible having to call Victoria to let her know we weren't moving forward with everything, as I knew she worked hard in trying to find a good caregiver for us last minute. I thought for sure Victoria would be angry given all the work she had to do. To my surprise, she was so kind and understanding! Plus, this was all after hours around 8pm! I was surprised on her availability to talk to me and her kindness. I slept in a recliner for 2 months in hospitals upon hospitals watching over a loved one. On top of work and everything else, I was exhausted. Victoria's kindness meant the world to me. Next time I need a caregiver, I most definitely will reach back out to Nurse Next Door.
