Mom was 96 and could not have been happier with her stay. Communication was open and honest, rehab brought her back to full function post multiple hip and pelvic fractures. Her every request was taken with a smile and immediate attention. Unfortunately, she passed 45 days before her 97th birthday due to breast cancer. I recommend this facility highly and thank all the friendly and well-trained staff down to the housekeepers who took time to converse when she just wanted personal interaction.

The facility doctor was well informed when he showed up for first visit and very helpful in the conversations with us. The PT and OT team has worked wonders right out the gate giving us some hope of a possible recovery and maybe we can get rehab done and loved one back home. The building is older but the rooms are clean and comfortable with good furnishings and some new furniture. They are not over crowded and have the adequate staff on hand day and night. The office explained the system very thoroughly and had all the paperwork ready when we got there very smooth transition. The food service for our picky loved one has been good as well everyday so far there has been some option that was at last a try but if it was not eaten it was not the facilities fault they had tried their best. So far we are very pleased with the facility

Totally unprofessional staff at Kempton. My mother sustained a fall at Kempton went to a skilled…read morenursing facility to receive treatment and recuperation - five days before she was scheduled to return I as my mothers representative received a two sentence verbal eviction notice from the Kempton nursing director- "your mother is barred from reentry to the Kempton". My request for a more information as to the nature of the involuntary discharge and a hearing and appeal was all turned down with summary statement by nursing director that this is an internal affair we will not discuss further. This all runs totally against federal statue " Nursing Reform Act of 1987" with mandated conditions for medical reason evictions: (1) written notice. (2) 30 days in advance, (3) specifically documented stating new medical condition precluding return, (4) documentation of condition generated by a doctor ( not a nurse), (5) eviction notice must come with avenues of appeal affordable to resident, (6) new underlying condition must be registered with state authorities. None of these conditions were complied with and no one help finds new home or offered assistance by Kempton essentially leaving her out in the street. Long term for seniors ombudsman has ruled residents have the right to return to their residence following a medical stay barring their return particularly in an undocumented manner is not permissible. I advise any one with a love one consider this possible outcome for your loved one and avoid this facility

The purchase price was $60, which was paid in cash. The delivery ticket was amended by marking out the $5 monthly rental fee and replacing it with the $60 charge. The word "rental" on the form is across from the $5 fee, and we were told we were purchasing the chair. This was never explained as a "rent to own" option. Thinking my mother had purchased the chair, we moved it with her when she moved out of state. Is this the "extreme service" that CEO Andrew Trammell has promised for his customers?? Unlike some companies, my mother has integrity and will pay the additional $100.

I was promptly greeted and waited about 2 minutes for my CPAP technician to meet with me. She was very professional, upbeat, very informative about the products she has and even set the whole thing up for me. I was impressed with the follow up calls I have received to see if everything with the performance of the machine was what I expected. Not sure what the negative reviews were about but from my experience these folks are good to go.
