Dennis, my physical therapist, gave me a thorough interview to get a good understanding of the status of my injuries. He really took a long time to try and devise a plan to put me on a path or recovery. He wasn't the only concerned guy here. The whole team seemed to be watching out for all the other patients. Others would step in to make sure I was taken care of. Not once did I feel even slightly disregarded. I have struggled for years with chronic back and hip pain. After having a particularly painful few…read moremonths of walking and getting around, a friend recommended I see Leanne for an evaluation. I have had 5 sessions since the initial evaluation and this is the best I've felt in ages! At Axis my rehab consists of Leanne working her magic with manual therapy on my hips and back which is followed by a guided rehab protocol in their gym, (in addition to some of my own rehab at home). After being pretty hopeless about being able to walk pain-free ever again, I am now hiking and walking with my family and feel like I have a new lease on life.

She would have her assistant watch me do the activities she suggested. close to the last time I went, she had me doing a routine that was detrimental to my body, going sideways and stopping quickly. The first time I did it, when I stopped a pain went through my hip and dropped me to the floor. The assistant helped me up and got me on a table. The therapist wrapped tape around my leg to treat the pain. I went back for another session, when I walked out I never went back. I have later learned what she had me doing has caused non repairable damage. I now get shots in my hip to stop the pain. I don't sue people but in this case I wish I had. This girl was very arrogant and over confident of her abilities, she never supervised the patient leaving that up to her assistant who was never trained. I don't remember her name, so I can't pin point her exactly, so I suggest avoiding the business altogether as well as any other physical therapy business that tells you what to do and then leaves you to do the exercises while she goes to talk to her friends or whatever else. One on one continuous monitoring, is the way it should be.

I was transparent because I have a history of addiction and want safe care--not opioids, which I never want again. The hardest part wasn't the refusal, but not being given a chance for a conversation. Health requires a whole-person approach, and when honesty is met with dismissal, it leaves patients feeling hopeless. I hope this office will reconsider how situations like this are handled.

The office staff were super friendly (despite how rude I was to them...no sleep-sorry) and got me in quickly with their Director, Janelle Mann. SHE IS AMAZING. So intuitive, kind, and smart. Not only did she help my son with his tight neck, but she also helped treat his tummy/gastro problem that arose. The home program she assigned for us to work on was well explained and easy to understand. It adapted after each progression until he was cured. She made me feel comfortable and confident turning and stretching his neck. Every case is different, but he was discharged from treatment at 9 months old. We couldn't have done it with our her expertise. I'm so glad we were referred here. One more thing--they keep the place very clean. I noticed they clean each room after it's used by the patients. Mopping with Clorox and wiping down all of the toys and tools used after each session. This may not sound like a big deal, but they have TONS of kids being treated here and it was great to see how proactive they were about germs not spreading.

We've had to reschedule appointments 3 seperate times due to illness and they were great with us. My son sees Ms. Janet and Ms. Melissa with physical therapy and they're both phenomenal. There have been times that my son is just miserable (teething is NOT kind) and I've had to say ok he's had enough for today and they've always been understanding and respected my feelings. They've let him take breaks to nurse when he's hungry and overall just work with him and his needs. I definitely recommend them for physical therapy.
