I have struggled for years with chronic back and hip pain. After having a particularly painful few…read moremonths of walking and getting around, a friend recommended I see Leanne for an evaluation. I have had 5 sessions since the initial evaluation and this is the best I've felt in ages! At Axis my rehab consists of Leanne working her magic with manual therapy on my hips and back which is followed by a guided rehab protocol in their gym, (in addition to some of my own rehab at home). After being pretty hopeless about being able to walk pain-free ever again, I am now hiking and walking with my family and feel like I have a new lease on life.

I went here in 2017 after a vehicle accident, I don't remember the girls name that was to treat me,…read moreshe was not interested in my treatment. She would have her assistant watch me do the activities she suggested. close to the last time I went, she had me doing a routine that was detrimental to my body, going sideways and stopping quickly. The first time I did it, when I stopped a pain went through my hip and dropped me to the floor. The assistant helped me up and got me on a table. The therapist wrapped tape around my leg to treat the pain. I went back for another session, when I walked out I never went back. I have later learned what she had me doing has caused non repairable damage. I now get shots in my hip to stop the pain. I don't sue people but in this case I wish I had. This girl was very arrogant and over confident of her abilities, she never supervised the patient leaving that up to her assistant who was never trained. I don't remember her name, so I can't pin point her exactly, so I suggest avoiding the business altogether as well as any other physical therapy business that tells you what to do and then leaves you to do the exercises while she goes to talk to her friends or whatever else. One on one continuous monitoring, is the way it should be.

When I pulled up to the dilapidated shopping center, it's almost depressing to park and walk through the parking lot. Parking spaces are large and abundant but it's like a ghost town here. Dennis, my physical therapist, gave me a thorough interview to get a good understanding of the status of my injuries. He really took a long time to try and devise a plan to put me on a path or recovery. He wasn't the only concerned guy here. The whole team seemed to be watching out for all the other patients. Others would step in to make sure I was taken care of. Not once did I feel even slightly disregarded. I highly recommend injured souls come here for a professional, efficient treatment with lighthearted physical therapists. They always seem to be in good mood... and that itself is uplifting.

I signed few things I didn't fill out online and I only sat down like maybe 5 min and was greeted by my therapist Victoria. I must say she's the sweetest young lady and has pretties red hair! But I digress lol.. Victoria took me into a side room with lots of privacy and did a total assessment of my knee strength, flexibility, pain tolerances, and asked questions about where pain was.. how long I've had it.. why I was there, and what goals I had . She looked at notes doc sent with referral.. I was anxious and she went thru every step explaining as we went.. she asked how often I would come I told her I could only do 2 days week she was fine and never pushed for more.. my doc wants 6 weeks to start go from there.. this was my first time here and I felt very comfortable with the staff.
