I landed on Doyle and Doyle after repeated negative experiences with my dental care when my dentist…read moreretired and sold his practice. A cavity filled in December had broken, and they were unable to accommodate me for almost a week to be seen. Doyle and Doyle got me in so quickly, and they were nothing but kind, patient, and thorough. They explained everything they did, let me pick what kind of music I wanted to listen to via headphones while they worked, and let me ask as many questions as I needed. I was not rushed out the door or made to feel like I was a bother in the slightest, despite them going out of their way to get me on the schedule. I am so grateful and will continue to spread the word of what a great place they are!

I am young and healthy, brush and floss daily and have always been told I have beautiful, healthy teeth. At Govani, the dental hygienist scraped each of my gums with the sharp tool until they bled, then she measured my periodontal charting by poking into each gum. When Dr. Govani came in, she told me I have gingivitis and will require anesthesia for two days of "deep" cleaning because of all the tarter buildup, which would cost $800. Before scheduling anything with them, I followed up with my previous dentist and they cleaned my teeth, told me my periodontal charting was between 1-2, NO tarter, and to come back in 6 months. Govani dental must be seriously needing money by looking for anything to charge patients for.

The work Dr. Homan does do is amazing. He's quick and proficient in his dental work. I enjoy seeing Dr. Homan. The reason I give a 3 star rating instead of a 5? I have an extreme phobia of the dentist stemming from being mistreated as a young child by The Dental Associates in Fond Du Lac. I'm extremely uneasy about being in a dentist office and I'm always greated with rolling of eyes by the receptionist, as well as the female associate that helps Dr. Homan. Let me tell you when you have a phobia of something and feel like you're ready to have an anxiety attack just from being there. Nothing will make you feel more at home than being treated as if you're not wanted by the people that work there! I was a 21 year old junior in college and the receptionist actually called my mother to confirm an appointment. Talk about an absolute show of disrespect. While I enjoy seeing Dr. Homan and wouldn't have anyone else fix my mouth. I could do without seeing the others in the office and their exasperated sighs, rolling of eyes, and judgemental tone of voice. I know I haven't been the best patient but there's a reason I'm here.
