It was amazing to see things in operation, especially the robots and the rainbow of colors. I would go back as an adult alone to be able to read more at the stations and take in the whole process. It would be a lot different experience when the factory is not in production. Staff were friendly. The cost of $8 for adults and $4 for kids is not unreasonable. Make sure you look for the cheaper priced candy by the cafe. Some of the regular priced stuff is pricey - like a $7.95 for a relatively small bag of orange flavored assorted beans. Cafe food was good - kids chicken strips and a delicious Asian chicken salad. Prices were not cheap but ok for the quality of food. The short train ride across the parking lot from the factory to the museum is sufficient for the young and young at heart. Museum is more geared to adults covering the history of the companies and candy production equipment.

Getting there was easy (45 mins from the east bay), parking was free, entrance was cheap, and timings were flexible as we chose not to handcuff our schedule to the guided factory tour timings. PRO TIP: We paid way more for jelly beans at the gift store on our way out than we should have. There's a factory store near the cafe which will save you a lot of money if you're not too picky about flavor combinations. You can save EVEN MORE MONEY by buying boxes of jelly beans or older flavors from the Jelly Belly museum across the parking lot. Happy to return!

When the clouds look threatening, this is my go to spot since the upstairs area isn't fully covered from the elements. So there won't be too many people sitting and staying other than the occasional tourist taking a selfie with the view. And there's a coffee bar downstairs! I got a dry cappuccino, extra hot. I don't believe they charge for alt milk so love that. I heard they will do Apple art in the foam but I didn't get it this time, so I'll have to come back again. There's a lot of people downstairs since it's the most accessible so staff was pretty busy with back to back orders. They kept the coffee bar area clean and orderly. Other side is an Apple Store where you can purchase products, test things out, and sometimes they hold classes and workshops in the open concept space. They have additional items you might not find in the average Apple Store. They seem fairly priced for branded items not found normally. This location is free to visit with free parking. Pro tip: there's a garage downstairs with even more parking. This is one of the spots I always take visitors to the Bay Area to!

Parking is completely free and the farm itself is also free to visit, which makes it an easy and accessible outing for everyone. There are several farm animals that kids can see up close like goats, chickens, pigs, and more, which makes the experience really enjoyable for little ones. At the moment, visitors are not able to feed the animals due to health concerns, but it's still great being able to walk around and see them in a peaceful setting. The surrounding area is also beautiful. There are amazing hiking trails all around Tilden, so you can easily turn a quick visit into a full day outdoors. On a sunny day, the views, fresh air and open space make the whole place feel very relaxing. Overall, it's a simple, wholesome place to visit, especially if you want kids to experience animals and nature without spending money. Definitely worth checking out on a sunny day.

The short trek is worth seeing the beautiful animals up close but will require a bit of energy going uphill. Lots of empty pens in the farm this past Sunday. Super cute, just chillaxing :) This farm allows for petting of the animals with caution, but lots of signs saying no feeding allowed. There's also educational opportunities on site, wash stations, restrooms, and a free parking lot for convenience, to go along with free admission to the farm. There's no wifi here, and minimal seating. I made the most out of my visit, by checking out Jewel Lake nearby as well.
