    I had a shockingly nice experience here today, this review is long because there was two portions. I haven't used my insurance and was struggling to find someone in network with Cigna and was directed to VisionWorks. I went online to schedule at night and found they had availability pretty early the next morning, Memorial Day. I booked early, and arrived early finding a relatively small lot. Although their private lot was small, it was adjacent to a business plaza with a Walmart and Publix so I doubt parking would EVER be an issue and lots of shady spots. I went in and was immediately greeted by Christopher M., he asked if I had an exam and directed me to the back. It was fairly cold inside. The woman at the front desk was helpful, she corrected the insurance information and gave me forms to fill out and took my IDs. I filled out the forms and was given my cards back and told that I could browse while waiting. I browsed and Christopher helped look up my insurance info so I had an idea of what to expect when shopping frames and considering lens pricing. I was seen about 10 minutes after my scheduled time but it all moved really fast from there with minimal downtime. Forms were gone over before anything was done and reviewed insurance copays for the exam. I told the lady I saw that I opted out of the glaucoma test and she didn't give me a hard time and did the distance test and scanned my glasses. After she directed me into the doctors room and performed some basic tests without machines using eye charts while I wore my glasses. I was left alone for no more than a minute before the doctor arrived. A younger guy with dreads came in, the doctor, and was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable. We talked about my eye issues and I caught him up to speed, he helped me get a prescription both for every day use and for computer heavy use as I'm an accountant and full time online college student. I jokingly told him that although I opted out of the glaucoma test, I was treating it anyways as a medical cannabis patient. He not only found another tool to use to ensure I was in good shape although I didn't want the air puff test, he was supportive of my choices and didn't give me a hard time which I really appreciated. Not too often a doctor is supportive of their patients medical decisions (which hurts to say). He was amazing, 10/10. Just wish I had his name. After I got out, I was made aware I could browse while he finished my prescription. I was called over and given two scripts and checked out for the exam copay which was cheap enough. I've never had such detailed prescriptions given to me which was nice, much less pressure to buy there (but I did). I poked around and had absolutely no pressure to buy from salesmen but he was available if I needed help. I found a pair per prescription and Christopher came over to check on me and I was good to go. Really fast check out too. We chatted and joked around, and he helped me use a 60% off coupon for the pair not covered by insurance. Paid about $220 for two upgrades sets of glasses and one with more expensive frames. Overall, I couldn't have been in there for more than an hour. I was impressed by the friendliness of most of the staff, especially the doctor and Christopher. I don't think I've ever liked my optometrist or had a truly enjoyable visit. That, and it was SO FAST for an eye exam. I would recommend and look forward to picking up my glasses within two weeks from the store.

    Every year I get my eyes examined This year I had lost my back up glasses, that I wear to yake a break from contacts. I was surprised at how good and knowledgeable the optromitist was. He had a great manner and I feel I got a very thorough eye exam. I just wanted a cheap pair of glasses for a back up. I had many choices that were only $40.00 including the lenses. The girl that took the mrasurements, was friendly and professionsl. No judgement on the cheapo glasses. Just good service. I returned an hour latter and the glasses were ready They checked the fit and adjusted them accordingl and I was on my way. Gotta take vare of yoir eyes! What's a girl to do..save money!

I've purchased the exact same frames from this office for the past three times, every other year. The last two years, the front desk staff mis-ordered my frames. Both times, I had to make an extra trip just to discover the mistake. Instead of taking responsibility, they acted like it was somehow my fault -- even though it's the same frames I order every time. Come on. Let's talk about pricing. In 2023, my total was: Frames: $210 Lenses: $60 Exam: $60 Total: $330 Fast forward to December 2025: Frames: $330 (same frames) Lenses: $100 Exam: $99 That's a massive jump in just two years. When I went to pick up my glasses (after waiting for them to come in), I questioned the pricing because I genuinely thought it might be a mistake. I was then told that since I "upgraded" after the first mis-order, I actually owe them more money. What?? The front desk told me the suggested retail was $264 and that they mark that up -- somehow that becomes over $330. Meanwhile, the suggested retail on the original frames is $227, which means they're marking them up over 45%. Just wow. I chose to leave without causing a scene, but the combination of repeated ordering errors, dismissive customer service, and dramatic price increases is unacceptable. Patients deserve accountability, transparency, and fair pricing. Unfortunately, I experienced none of that here. I will be taking my business elsewhere

I brought in my glasses that I don't like and sunglasses as an example of what fits great, since I wanted to be comfortable sitting at the computer for long periods of time. I was hoping for a conversation about similar options for bi-weekly contacts for people with astigmatism, since it's a new condition for me, but nope. I was hoping the lady could help me with my face measurements or tell me what a good option would be for the bridge piece that I could explore so they don't always slide off, but nope. I felt like a nuisance and stopped talking after the conversation just seemed to be a whole lot of "I don't know" and "I don't order online." Super disappointed and I'll take my chances with somewhere cheaper, since I didn't care about the cost at Target Optical. I just wanted help! He handed me my new sunglasses that had made me so dizzy wearing them the first 3 days, I brought them in to ask Sue's help. She sent them out for a different lens material.Today, the replacement lenses were a little better but very blurry on the right lens. I explained that the 9 year old sunglasses that I bought here, still wear were still perfect and never blurry. He pulled my files and said "you didn't get those lenses from here!" I repeated that I only shop there and definitely did purchase them with Gil behind him on that wall. He repeated that I must have gone somewhere else. I said "are you calling me a liar??" He said "you definitely went somewhere else not here" I said quietly with a customer standing behind me; " you are out of line" and he yelled "YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN".
