Easy to get an appointment. Had a thorough eye exam. Everyone was very helpful! Great selection of frames. I love my new glasses!

They don't know anything there, no manager ordered glass on April wrong prescription do by dic, still no glasses now it June. Bad bad bad

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is HORRIBLE!!!! The girls at the front desk didn't know what they were doing They were to busy talking to each other. I had an appointment and I waited OVER AN HOUR just to been seen. The so called eye doctor was super unprofessional rushed everything. I told her some concerns I had and she just argued with me didn't even want to hear what I had to say. I kept telling her I can't see and it was blurry she didn't listen. It's been 3 weeks and I still haven't gotten my glasses yet. My appointment was at 4:45 and I didn't get out of there until 7 pm! It was ridiculous. Honestly don't waist your time on going here I can't believe I did. These people aren't professional what so ever. Very disappointed and will NEVER go back. If my glasses do work I'll be honestly super surprised. read more

I've worn glasses for about 50 years, and I've had many eye exams and bought many pairs of glasses. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had. I chose not to have my eyes dilated, and it was explained to me that another option was available at an additional cost, which I would have chosen, but it was never mentioned again. The cursory eye exam was extremely brief, and the optometrist spent very little time with me, mostly focusing on what he perceived to be my need for cataract surgery. His demeanor was curt and bordered on rude. Then later, there was some confusion about when my glasses would be ready; at one point I was told that they had my glasses in the store but could not give them to me for several days. Only after I contacted corporate headquarters and requested a refund did they suddenly become available. When I picked them up, no effort was made to check the fit or make any necessary adjustments. They basically just handed them to me. I will never, ever return to Visionworks; I would prefer to drive 80 miles to Lexington and find a real eye doctor. 7-17 Update: Per their request, I contacted Visionworks, and I eventually got a phone call from some guy who said he worked for them, but he called at a really inconvenient time (I had just returned from the dentist -- the novocaine hadn't worn off yet) so I asked him to please call me back. He said he would contact me on Monday July 12th. It's now the 17th, and I have yet to hear from him. So don't be fooled by their response to my original post; it certainly didn't amount to much. If anything, I'm more disgusted now than I was before. They would have done better to not respond at all. That's just sad. I didn't think they could possibly do anything to make this bad situation worse, but I was mistaken. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Liars and thieves!!!! I'm a disabled person and they have stolen my prescription glasses and won't return trying to force me to get their frames!!!!!? if I could give 0 stars I would incompetent doesn't even begin to describe the issues with this place FRAUD with capital letters I have reported them to my insurance company and I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer protection agency!!! I will probably have to sue them to get my money back!!!! I will never get my glasses back they have no idea where they are Super bad place to do business with!!!! My husband and I had eye appts and we went into store, as we came in we saw another lady sitting in the waiting area without a mask. Neither of us had on masks as the mandate had been lifted..the receptionist asked us to wear a mask to which I replied I have severe asthma and am done with masks but I have no problem leaving if it makes you all uncomfortable. No big deal, wasn't hateful about it and wasn't mad at all. Then the office manager came out and said the same thing ...again I said we have no problem leaving if we have to have a mask..the whole time the other unmasked lady had had the pre eye exam things and her eye exam done and was waiting for the office manager to help her with glasses...then the owner/ guy in charge came out and said the mask thing again... EVERYTIME THEY ASKED I SAID I WOULD LEAVE, NO BIG DEAL..THEY ALL SAID OH NO UNTIL THE OWNER CAME OUT..we were so embarrassed by their actions...will not EVER go back there again..no stars at all This isn't about being anti mask...this is about rude people..the other lady even got kinda ticked too. read more

First I was told that my insurance was accepted. The girl even wrote the price of the exam on a Post It note and gave it to me. I got my eyes checked and so did one of my children. AFTER the exam I was told that they did not accept my insurance and the price was doubled. We were told by the doctor to try the contacts for a month and then we could order if we were satisfied. I paid the doubled bill and left. However, when I went back in to order contacts, I was told that both myself and my child would have to see the doctor again to be checked before we could order contacts. We have both worn contacts for YEARS! I told the "doctor" that my son wanted to keep the same type of contacts he had worn. He said we should try a different contact because it was cheaper. However, when I went in, I wasn't able to order either kind of contact unless we say the doctor again. So, I made myself and my son an appointment with a different doctor so that we could actually order some contact lenses. I would never go there again if it was free. read more

I had a great experience with Dr. Crockett and everyone that works here. I think that may have been the best eye exam I've ever had. He got closer to a true prescription (I have VERY poor vision so that's difficult) than ever before and answered all of my questions. The team members are very active in helping you find the glasses that are right for you even if they're the less expensive pair, which for me is wonderful as I am balling on a budget over here. They also were very clear about deals and made insurance things so easy for me. The whole process was done in a timely manner and that's what I think I appreciate most. On top of that, I live 3 hours away and they overnight the glasses to ME as soon as they get them in and if I needed them fitted I can just go into a Visionworks where I actually live. That's incredible. I truly can not wait to receive my two new pairs of glasses from them. I WILL be coming to Somerset from now on to see Doctor Crockett and his friendly staff. read more

I am absolutely disgusted with the way things are handled at this location first off we went for exams which took like 2 minutes each I got my prescription and it's not even complete so I can order glasses !!! Also called to see if my children's glasses were ready and was treated rude on the phone. Never would I ever go here again and am taking my other child who still needs an exam elsewhere. So glad I didn't purchase glasses myself from here and we will go elsewhere for contact exams !!! Very unprofessional!!! read more
