I'm a student here in knoxville, 25, my eyes were -4ish. I found Tennessee lasik through researching different facilities for the most experienced doctor. It's my eyesight so I obviously wanted the best. I thought about making a trip to Nashville but after seeing the cost difference, and how they have the same top of the line equipment here in knox, as well as the amount of experience of Dr Stewart, I decided on Tennessee Lasik for the procedure. I would recommend Dr. Colby Stewart to everyone, but especially anyone who might be scared of having lasik done. The lasik procedure seems scary when researching but the staff truly did a great job. I have never had such a wonderful experience at any medical facility before now.

The fear of having eye surgery always kept me from going through with Lasik. After many discussions with Donna, the Lasik Eye Coordinator I made the decision to go through with Lasik. The initial consult with Dr. Hudson eased all my fears of Lasik. She was very thorough with testing to ensure I was a good candidate for Lasik. When she told me I was a good candidate, that gave me the confidence I needed to do the surgery. The day of surgery went smoothly! Dr. Hudson walked me through the entire process during surgery. I was nervous but she calmed all my fears. Post op has been great as well. The day after surgery was my first appointment. I like the fact she truly takes care for her patients before, during, and after care. I still can't believe I no longer need glasses or contacts. My eye sight was 20/20 the day after surgery. My quality of life is so much better already. I no longer have to worry about where my glasses are or if I have enough contacts and solution. The freedom I have now is like an outlook on life! Wait time is always minimal with a warm welcome by staff to take you back. They are engaging & and friendly, whereas others just want to push you through the processes with little to no interaction and then on to the next. Then you briefly sat in a separate waiting area & and within minutes I was in a room. Dr. Denaro, I love her professional yet personal touch. She always has a wonderful smile & explains everything. She makes you feel as if you are her main priority that day. You would never know if she had 5 or 50 patients to see. I'm 54 yrs old & worn glasses/contacts since I was 7 & never out of all the doctors I have seen had a doctor make me feel as if they were personally vested in my eye health! I went in for an ordinary eye exam for my contact lenses. I didn't have any extra services. I…read moreprovided my current contact lens exam so they knew exactly what contacts I am wearing and all of the prescription information. I didn't even have my eyes dilated. They are IN NETWORK on my insurance. They charged me $45 that day, and today I received a bill for $150 more to be paid. The total charge for a standard eye exam for contact lenses was $483.00!!!!!! FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY THREE!!! I have a $10 co-pay on an eye exam. And they have billed me $195. Thank goodness my insurance covered some of the charges. I can't imagine if I didn't have coverage! I must return to pick up my contacts and hopefully the new ones are correct. I can't imagine what I will be charged if I need an adjusted prescription! Once I am all set with contacts I will NEVER use this group again. My husband has also been a patient of this group in the past but will find a new provider for his exam this year. Unless cost is not a concern, I absolutely do NOT recommend this provider

Dr. Cunningham did cataract surgery on my left eye. That didn't work for me so I had to have Lasix…read moresurgery. Dr. Cunningham and 2 ladies came in the surgery room, Dr. Cunningham let on of the women do the Lasix surgery ended up getting a very bad infection in it so I had to go to the Dr every 3 days to see if it was getting well. I'm still having issues from the eye surgery it caused several issues that I deal with daily because of Dr. Cunningham negligence.
