I have only just started using this location but for my first experience I couldn't find anything wrong or out of place. The staff was very friendly, the doctor (TeleDoc) was very professional and knowledgeable. Probably one of the faster exams that I have been through though it was thorough and accurate. I did order contacts which came in quickly and they gave me 20 days of trials to make sure the prescription was correct and didn't cause headaches. I stopped by Visionworks because Barbie has really awful eyesight (I mean she dates me so) and has had so for a long time and she won't get anything done about it - so I tried to see about laser correction or what kind of other options she has - and they were friendly and it's a nice little place, but it felt like nobody had been in there for ages. The staff in this store named Collen who claimed to be the manager of this store in Papillion is so rude and doesn't have any manners at all. Me and my husband had a schedule for an eye exam today, and this lady welcomed us in the store in a very rude way as if she owns the store. No hi hellos or polite greeting at all. As we enter the store, she abruptly ask us in a high pitch tone close to yelling with a frowning face "Are you Kristine?" you are not listed in your husband's family plan insurance, so you have to call the hr to list you" We travelled for half an hour to get into this store, we even called that we will be 5 mins late. We have two appointments listed today, one at 11:00am (for Kristine Lotoc) and one at 11:20am (Ronald Lotoc) but none of us were accomodated. We called the insurance, and the insurance said, the store should have called them so they can add my name into it, this isn't a hard one to resolved. But Collen made it appear like its a problem where in fact its an easy fix. She obviously just don't want to entertain us and lazy enough to assist her customers. There are other staff present in this store who witnessed how rude Collen is. I hope the management will take action in this. She is not at all professional, very rude and doesn't know how to resolve simple issues. I've had a really great experience at Visionworks. They're always very helpful and quick to resolve any issue. My son stretched out his frame because we didn't know there were XL frames, but he was within the 100 day guarantee so we got new frames, that actually fit, for free. I was skeptical about the online Dr experience at first, but it was actually very seamless and easy. I'll definitely be a returning customer. read more

Unfortunately there isn't an option to leave less than 1 star. Worse customer service. I've brought my family to this location for numerous years and had excellent care prior to the merging of the 2 companies, so when my elderly mom broke her glasses and hadn't seen an eye doctor for several years, this was this first place I thought to bring her. Made an appointment on line, received my confirmation email and after driving to her town to get her, taking almost a half hour to load her in the car, driving a half hour to the location...to be told they had no record of her appointment (even after showing them the confirmation I'd received on line) and that they were booked for the day, we could make another appointment and goodbye. No attempt to fit her in due to their mistake. No other offer. Lost this customer, my family members/friends and anyone else I can tell not to come here. So much for loyalty and integrity to customers. read more

I've never had problems with any vision works until I came to this one. I recently had a baby so my vision changed due to the pregnancy and I was in need of a new contact exam as well as eyeglasses because I could barely see. So far I've already had two different contact exams because I keep getting the wrong prescription and therefore the contacts are causing me terrible headaches to the point I figured I would just order glasses. I endured my headaches for another week and was so excited when my glasses came in only to find out those too had the wrong prescription. It was so bad that everything was fishbowl effect and almost 3D. Im just trying to see, and I'm sick and tired of having headaches due to wrong prescription. read more

I am very disappointed in my experience here at Visionworks. -- Vision works is suppose to open up at 10am, this location did not open up at 10am, rather than 10:10am -- The staff was not prepared to take customer even after opening later than advertised. -- Staff members (and the optometrist) arrived well after the store was suppose to. -- The optometrist was kind & informative during the eye exam. -- After waiting 15 minutes so I could check out and leave, the computer system froze. -- After fixing the computer issues, the receptionist didn't have a code she needed from the optometrist. So we had to wait until he was done with another exam. I think I could have had a better experience at his location. If the staff exuded a more professional tone, such as arriving before 10 to open the store, have paperwork ready for the patients and creating alternative solutions for "missing codes", I think the experience would have been more pleasant. The staff was overall kind & customer friendly. There should be a greater emphasis on time at this location. Update: Customer Service apologized for the experience and wanted to gather more information. However, requested I contact them (as opposed to them reaching out to me?) and after contacting customer service to help with additional information as requested. They did not respond. read more

This app forces you to give 1 star. Stay away from this place!!!! The service here is beyond terrible!!! Went in with a prescription to get new lenses, they totally screwed it up, and then lied to me saying oh you need a new vision test your eyes have drastically changed. Since they're supposed to be the professionals I went along with them, but then after they tested me and made my new prescription, I was still getting dizzy from wearing them. I went back and they said they made the wrong ones, so they made new ones and replaced the first set a week later. The 2nd set still made me feel off, but I stuck with them thinking it was just me. I went back after a week cause there was no improvement, they said they made temporary lenses cause they messed up again. 3rd set, slight improvement, but still off. A few days later the so called anti-glare starts to peel off and making it really hard to see. I've had enough of this place, so I went all the way across town to my normal place to get the glasses checked out by a professional. Low and behold the lenses from vision works doesn't even match the prescription that they made me, it was way off, thus giving me vision problems. Long story short, stay away from vision works they will try anything to get your money other than help you!!!! read more

I have been going to this visionworks for about 2 years now and I have always noticed that their customers service lacked. It wasn't until this day that it hit the climax of disrespect towards the customers time. I called in 5 minutes before the appointment saying that we would be a few minutes late, and asked if this will this be okay. They said that we would have to reschedule. I asked the reason and they said the Doctor was going to Lunch! This is absolutely absurd and then I asked if they could hold the doctor for a few minutes, they said no sorry he/she has to go to lunch. I said let me just arrive there, then when we arrived they said sorry but the doctor left and I stormed out. The customer service was really bad and they wouldn't even hold the doctor for a few minutes. I will never go here again and, I hope people who read this will heed my warning never to go here. read more

Very happy & satisfied customer! Purchased my first progressive (not cheap) lenses. My frames were accidentally broken while the lenses were being inserted/worked on. The staff was sympathetic and they allowed me to select any frame that would suit my needs. In addition, they gave me another pair of glasses that they had selected to retrofit the original lenses. I walked into the store as a new customer, I had just found out I needed glasses. The manager there, devon, was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I had so many questions and he was able to answer all of them. He was honest and I didnt feel like he was trying to shove unnecessary products down my throat. I went here after getting my script done at Malbar Vision. I needed new lenses in my glasses & needed to get sunglasses with a prescription. They were very helpful & accommodating. They were able to get me everything I needed for $100 less than Malbar! Plus, they were able to put the lenses in my existing frames on site, they didn't have to send them out like Malbar would have done. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because when I went back to pick my sunglasses up, they were super busy & one of the sales ladies seemed a little offputting, and made me feel like she didn't have time to help me. I had noticed her the time I was in previously, and she seems to just generally seem like she doesn't like her job. However, the rest of the sales people were very nice & accommodating. read more

I thought I'd give it time to "live in" the glasses for awhile, since sometimes it takes time to get used to a frame - especially ones you don't wear all the time. These are by far the worst pair of glasses I've ever had (I'm 52 and have had glasses since I was 11). It's been more than 6 months and they still don't fit right. I have given up trying. Last time I took them in, one associate said "here, I know what they need" took them to the back and did NOTHING. By that time I was fed up and left and haven't been back. Right now, after only 6 months, the color is chipping/wearing away from the frame in at least five spots - and these are half frames!! I'd go somewhere else and get a new pair, but these were so expensive I can't afford it. When friends and family ask about where to get glasses I tell them to run as fast as possible from VisionWorks because the customer service is horrible, their associates lie and the product is subpar. read more

The only good aspect about this eye care facility is the optometrist. My eye exam was spot on. The unfortunate part is that my glasses were made incorrectly. Also, while picking up my new glasses the tech offered to adjust my old frames. He broke one ear piece, but failed to say anything and continued to attempt to adjust the other ear piece, breaking that one as well. He handed them back and said they were just to brittle to adjust. My new glasses were so off that they were worse that my old ones. I had to wear my new glasses until I could get in for a follow up eye exam and while another set of lenses were made to replace the improperly made ones. When I returned for my remade lenses the tech that assisted me was rude and obviously not happy about having to assist me. The only reason I chose this facility was because of my vision insurance. The store manager did attempt to make it right by providing my with an additional pair at no cost to me or my insurance. Unfortunately I doubt I will ever use this particular vendor again. read more
