Went in today got exams done Sylvia Ford picked out a $249 frame, we always get transitions progressive lenses. After we waited for them to take measurements for over 1/2 hour after they collected for exams we left. Going to Costco with your exam. Customer service female would not adjust my eyeglasses that I picked up the month prior. I walked in before the service girl did & she immediately said she was too busy (she still had her lunch in her hand) and didn't have time to troubleshoot my adjustment. Come back in an hour plus. What? Horrible Customer service. The glasses had to be remade due too thick...total screw up and now...I was told to come back again. Done with Visionworks. Going elsewhere.... Retrain your service people. I was their when they opened and she refused to give me 5 minutes to fix them. I fixed them...took 5 minutes. Horrible customer service. Don't waste your time. read more

I was told i could comeback within 12 months and get a free replacement pair of each, no questions, nothing to return. Great! I'll have backups for free. I asked to make sure i was clear on what i was being told. Absolutely! Well, it was total BS. BUYER BEWARE!!. Yes, i can return my glasses and shades within 12 months, but NO keeping old ones. Some of the staff members are very unprofessional. During my exam, they were laughing and talking loud to each other, not realizing if I'm calling out the correct letters or not. Hate to give a bad review but I booked an appointment, confirmed via their booking system, received a confirmation text the day before, I show up to my scheduled appointment just to be told it was cancelled because I didn't answer my phone to verbally confirm my appointment, not cool. What's the point of asking me to confirm via text message and sending an appointment reminder text if it's not a valid way to confirm? I took work off for this. If the text confirmations are not a valid way to confirm, you guys should remove this as an option so you're not wasting people's time. read more

If I could give one star, I truly would. I purchased a full year of contact sets, but over half of the left eye contacts are unusable. Absolute wrong prescription. I don't even know how this could happen because the individual packets match what's on the box, but I cannot see out of my left eye with the contact in - and it's not like they accidentally marked the box "Left" when it should be "Right" because no, the contact doesnt work in my right eye. Worst optical service in town, not only were they're prices ridiculous, but they rude staff there had the audacity to tell me VSP isn't good that's why it's expensive. They submitted a claim and I never got glasses through them now here I am waiting over 2 months to get my money back. I went in today for an appointment and was told I didn't have one. I showed my phone appointment confirmation message and was told all appointments were removed from the systems. I was never notified and then the tech says she can schedule me at 5. Then tells me she can't because it's for essential appointments only. All this roller coaster on top of the techs were all arguing about something and the attitudes towards each other was very unprofessional and cut into customer service. We gave this place several chances. I had a lot of trouble getting my daughters contacts and glasses prescriptions and then being able to pick them up afterwards took a very long time. I think it was more than a month after we ordered her contacts when I finally called him and said I hadn't heard anything. They claimed that they did not have our phone number, however I had been getting other calls from them to schedule appointments for the rest of the family so I know that that was not true. When I tried to get my own glasses and contacts through them I was charge $70 for the exam even though my insurance said the co-pay should be 10. Then the prescription for my glasses was entered incorrectly so it didn't match the prescription for my contacts. Now I need new glasses and if I use the prescription they gave me the strength will not be correct and my insurance will not pay for another exam until January. If I don't get glasses before the end of the year then I miss out on getting an entire set of frames through my insurance. When I called to ask them if they could just look at both of the prescriptions to see that they did not match and correct the glasses prescription they told me they would not do it. They have been very unhelpful and I always have to wait 15 to 30 minutes for an appointment that I scheduled when I show up on time. I will not be going back again. read more

They phuck' up a pair sunglasses by adding the Rx. A nonprescription pair of glasses. I waited a week to get my non-RX glasses. I used the glasses and incurred terrible nauseating headaches. Went back, and the tech said "Oops, I listed your Rx on the paperwork. My bad." Not even a true apology. I had to wait another week to have my glasses corrected. Don't expect a call back when your contact lens Rx isn't working. 2.5 business days and still no returned call. I called and Ed answered the phone. When asked why I hadn't received a call back regarding my issue, Ed hung up on me. read more

They used to have great service but not anymore. Stopped in and the girl at the front was not very friendly. I asked about an eye appointment and she said they were $50 dollars but there were NONE for 3 weeks. I then went out to my car and phoned and she said yes she had an appointment in 1 hour if I would like that but $70 was the price. All I wanted was my lens replaced with exactly what they had put in my frames a few years ago. You MUST WEAR masks in this store; which is strange because the eye glass place across the street does not have the same policy. Will not recommend this place anymore. So sad to see Customer Service so poor. read more

This was the absolute worst vision care facility that I have EVER been to. My initial exam took almost 3 and a half hours. After all that time they still hadn't ordered my glasses. I finally just had to leave after ordering the new contacts the doctor prescribed and paying for the exam itself. I waited 2 weeks (the amount of time they said it would take to get the contacts in) and they said they hadn't come in yet. I waited almost another two weeks (we traveled out of the country so it fell to the bottom of my priorities) before calling again. The lady on the phone was extremely rude, she said I missed my "fitting appointment" which was a week after my initial appointment, that no one told me they scheduled. She said that they didn't even order my contacts, which I already paid for in full. (They didn't even mention this to me when I called the first time). I made a appointment yesterday Sunday 7/18 using their website, which wasn't exactly user friendly but I went ahead anyway, and took the day off of work so I could make the appointment. When I got up the next day I went back on the website and resubmitted the appointment request that the site said was available, and then I received a text confirming the appointment was site for 2 30 that afternoon. Later that morning while I was at a different appointment, their office called me and informed me that there was an error and that 2 appointments that were booked at that time and my appointment was now cancelled. I go here because they take the insurance that the company I work for has. The first time I went here the women that helped me was very nice, the doctor was just ok. I was told that when my glasses came in they would give me a call. I waited and waited but got no call. finally 2 days after the promised date I called them. They told me that the glasses were in. I asked when they came in and was told that they arrived a few days ago. That was almost 2 years ago. I finally got around to going in again in hopes of a better experience. The doctor was very nice and helpful. After the appointment I went out in the lobby to talk with one of the ladies to pick out new frames, discuss different options for the glasses, all that good stuff. the first thing I noticed is that the lady helping me had obviously just came in from a smoke break, she reeked of cigarette smoke, completely off-putting. I told her about my experience last time and not getting a call when the glasses came in, guess what didn't happen. Yes, I had to call again to see if the glasses were in. When I put the glasses on I could tell something was not right. I tried explaining what was wrong and all the lady could tell me was that my eyes needed time to adjust. When I got my first set, there was very little adjustment time. I kept saying that something was wrong. The doctor told me that she was only making the reading part of my progressive lens stronger and everything else was the same. The woman that was helping me informed me that the doctor had taken the whole prescription out of one eye and made the other eye stronger. I again tried to explain that something was wrong and I didn't like the glasses. Finally after her telling me several times that I just needed to adjust I took the glasses. As of the day I posted this, the glasses are still messed up and I will be making another appointment ASAP. read more

I was going to give this place 4 stars, but I could think of no reason not to give it 5. I had an excellent and actually enjoyable experience here. They have just opened up and at the time of this review have a great sale going on. That made things better right off bat. But the awesome service I received pushed this to 5 stars. I believe her name was Crystal. She met me with a smile, gave excellent advice about how stupid or GQ I looked in the different frames I tried on, and really tried to help me make some tough decisions. Furthermore, all other staff I came into contact with was friendly and helpful. Since this store is brand new, there were no issues with stuff being all out of place or messy areas. And yes, the bathrooms were clean! The selection is great. Even the budget frames seem a little nicer than what I have seen in the past from other places. Their designer brands include Calvin Klein (my choice), Armani, Nike, and some other high-class stuff. Pricing was great because of the sale they had going on. There are of course extras that you can get that will hike prices up, but that's the norm. I want to mention that they do not pressure you to purchase stuff that you really don't need, which is a key point for me. I have no negative remarks whatsoever about this location, so 5 stars it is! read more

I have been going to Visionworks for several years but beginning last year I doubt I will return and my husband SWEARS he won't because of the man who works there. He has been rude to both of us about the type of frames we select and has told us how out of date they are. We wear particular frames because WE HAVE TO; not that it is any of his business but you don't SHAME a customer about a choice. He also does the minimum he has to do to get customers out the door. He never cleans your glasses for you; nor does he give a card to read when you get your new glasses. We both went in a few weeks ago to get adjustments and he was just plain rude. He did some adjustments then handed us our glasses and said, "There you are" and walked away. Our glasses are worse now than before. I went back today and had mine adjusted by the manager and they are already 100% better. He is really killing their business in my opinion. read more

I have been to this location many times for my four children's glasses and the last two experiences have by far been the BEST. I almost didn't want to come back due to the employees that work there. BEFORE: I had an awful experience there with one of the girls in the front and when I asked to speak with the manager I was then greeted by another miserable woman. Both of their attitudes were in poor taste, all of the employees looked like they hated their jobs and not one single person acted like they had ever heard of how to give good customer service. I stayed away for 2 years and reluctantly went back because my daughter didn't like any of the frames at a few of the other shops. Now, however, I am SO glad I came back. NOW: The store is under new management and man what a difference! I walked in with my 4 children and was greeted by an extremely happy lady named Stephanie, come to find out later she is the new store manager. I mentioned my daughter is here just to browse at frames but didn't have a prescription. She said not a problem let me show you what we have and began asking my daughter and I questions about what styles she preferred. Keep in mind I went to three stores previously and not one person offered help to look at frames. She began pulling frames for my 13 year old daughter and had her try them on. She LISTENED to things my daughter mentioned of what she liked in a particular frame and what she hadn't liked, collecting the ones my extremely picky daughter liked. The store was busy and she asked if we mind if she checked in with some other customers while we looked. After helping a few people she came back to check in on us. The rest of the experience was flawless and easy. As I watched the other employees helping other customers I felt ease as they looked happy and all had smiles. This was a completely different feeling than I had 2 years ago when I walked in and it felt miserable. I cannot explain how different the environment is in there now. We came back to pickup my daughter's glasses and again was greeted with smiles. I then told Stephanie of my experience before and she apologized and said she felt terrible that we had that experience and that visionworks prides themselves on their great customer service because her customers only deserve the best experience. She thanked us for coming back and said she had hoped they felt comfortable coming back anytime. Also, in my daughter's words, she rocks! My daughter is extremely picky and usually hates wearing glasses. She now has two pairs that she loves and I never have to bother her to put them on. She offered us 60% off to come back for a third pair so my daughter can have prescription sunglasses for the inconvienence of our last experience. My other three children will be back in and I also spoke with my neighbor. I mentioned it to a co-worker and she said she went there because they took our insurance and had the same experience with Stephanie saying she hadn't experienced such great customer service like that in a long time. I've been a patron of Casa Grande EyeMasters since it opened a couple years ago and have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The optometrist is competent and friendly as well. You already know that EyeMasters is not the place to go if you want really high-end designer frames, etc., but certainly our EyeMasters in Casa Grande is a great thing to have. read more

I never leave bad feedback no matter how horrible an experience is/was, but looks like I am today since I've referred several friends and family members over to this specific location. My family and I have been coming to the Casa Grande location since it opened. We have always had a great experience. After today's visit, I realized it will be our last! I'd like to thank "Cynthia" for her help in making my decision a little easier. I've never purchased the optional insurance for our glasses, but since my son plays several sports, I decided it would be nice to have the added coverage this time around. Glad I did-my sons' glasses fell off during practice and were accidentally stepped on and crushed by a teammate. I called vision works and spoke with a very nice gentleman who did the reordering for me. He said my copay was $30- which I paid over the phone, then said he'd call when the new glasses came in. Took my son in today (01/14/16 around 4pm) to pick them up. Spoke with a nice young lady (in case you read this-I'm sorry I didn't get your name, but you asked my son what happened to his arm-he was wearing a cast). A note was left on our paperwork stating that the old glasses needed to be turned in, in exchange for the new glasses. When I told her that we didn't bring them because we had thrown them away due to them being completely damaged, she walked over to "Cynthia" (who was helping a couple with their transaction) to explain the situation. Cynthia loudly says to our girl "NO, WE NEED THEM". Frowning, "Cynthia" turns around to look over at me while lifting her arms up to her side and says again "WE NEED THOSE"! "Cynthia" now has the attention of all the customers in the store at the time, all eyes are on us. She could've excused herself and came over and explained to me the protocol, but instead she decided to yell this information at me between her desk and the desk my son and I were sitting at. When I told "Cynthia" we had thrown them away due to not knowing about the exchange, she stood there like she was in complete shock! She grabbed the paperwork out of our girls' hands and said "GIVE THIS TO ME, I'LL TAKE CARE OF THIS" all while walking over to the customer service desk shaking her head and wanting me to see her anger and frustration. With the most horrible grin, she looked over at me, shrugging her shoulders and says "SORRY. CORPORATE WAS WAITING ON THESE BUT IT'S UNFORTUNATE THEY WON'T BE GETTING THEM NOW"! Like I stated previously, this was the first time I had purchased the insurance, and obviously not informed of the proper guidelines. And what's the point of purchasing the insurance and paying the $30 copay if I need to bring the old pair in for proof? I'm not a child "Cynthia", you could've walked over to me and explained yourself in a more professional manner, instead of yelling across the store at me for everyone to see and hear. But, thank you again for making my decision easy. Except for my son, the rest of my family and myself are due for another exam and new pairs of glasses... We'll be taking our business elsewhere. 2 stars for the gentleman that helped us over the phone and to our girl that helped us in the store. After getting home and still being upset, I called the store to get corporates number secretly hoping "Cynthia" would answer the phone so that I could get her name....and she did!! read more
