I do recommend the eye doctors and their staff, they are top of their class. The ocular department is very under qualified to handle your prescription, especially an older lady named Kristina. She messed up several prescription on the same day and blamed it on their lab. I was supposed to get my glasses in 2 weeks, and it has been about a month. She usually works at the Trussville location, but shouldn't be working for them at all. read more

I ordered contact lenses through the office in November took several calls to get them ordered, then they only order one prescription not the other one (I wear a different power in each eye) this was discovered on pick up of order, optical assured me they would order the other power that was 2 weeks before Christmas, I have called 5 times with no return call, messaged on Klarna, with no response and I now because per insurance they ordered both contact lens I have to come out of pocket to obtain the missing lens. I keep hearing they are under staffed. At this point I have been more than understanding but this is unacceptable. So tomorrow I will be showing up in person and not leaving without my contacts and notifying delta vision and VSP of their illegal billing practice of filling false claims. I have used them since they opened here in Pell city but will NEVER use them again!!!!! I would also suggest no one use them! read more

I would give them a negative 1000 if I could. I've been going there for many years and never had a problem until now. I went in there back in August and the person sitting at the desk didn't want to help me find my glasses. I use my insurance and they pay pretty good. I want to stay within my insurance allowance. So I waited and while I ran back and forth to check prices, she looked visibly annoyed. I picked out two pairs. I have two insurance companies. By the time I got back there, she had walked out and never came back. So I tried again. To make a long story short, I picked out my frames and was waiting for them to call. It's now December and they swear I'll have them by Christmas. I called so many times but never received a call back. So now it's January 3. I sent them a text letting them know that they are committing Fraud. My insurance paid, I paid the balance and never got my glasses. That's fraud. Never going back again except this Wednesday to get mine and my insurance money back. read more

Vision first seems more concerned about your money than your eyes. No follow up after appts. Will not offer help on prescriptions when they are a week out of expiration. They want the fee for another contact fitting. Staff not flexible or welcoming. read more

Last week I received a reminder via text that I had an appointment with them 11/21/23 @ 8:30, received an email on Sunday reminding me and THEN yesterday I received another text confirming my appointment for 8:30 11/21/23. So, today I arrive at their office about 10 minutes early, signed in and sat down. After a few minutes they called my name and proceeded to advise me that my Dr is out on maternity leave. I assumed they were just going to let me know that I would be seeing another DR..............NOT. They told me that I would have to reschedule, I asked about seeing another DR and was told that he is booked and there's no other option but to reschedule, I show the receptionist my confirmation TEXT from them dated 11/20/23, doesn't matter, asked when I would like to reschedule to which I advise that I'm not and that my wife and I will be going elsewhere. Just walked out without doing my appointment because the mask police (girl on left at front counter) said I had to wear a different mask. Nope! I had a mask on, which I didn't even want to wear to begin with. You can tell your owner they just lost at least $1000+ between my husband and I as we were going to be getting new glasses, have lenses replaced on two pairs we already have and buy contacts for both of us. So your rude front desk associate just lost that for you. You have a major problem with thinking you are in charge of people and can tell me what to do with your power trip. NO thanks. I am a perfectly healthy person and you already took my temperature which is pointless. I am so over these people who think they have power over others from the "pandemic" - avoid this place unless you want to be treated like you're in a nazi camp. I refuse to put any money in pockets of businesses that do this. It's my body and MY CHOICE. I don't care what the Government mandated. This is a free country and I refuse to put up with this a year after this started over a virus that I already had and SURVIVED NO PROBLEM. read more

Tomorrow will be five weeks since my mother ordered her glasses. No one bothered to call to explain the delay. I have called three times to check on the status and finally went to the office to attempt to find out what was causing the delay. I was told the lab had "messed" up the prescription. I can understand this but why didn't anyone call and let us know or why didn't they explain when I called them. My advice is "don't use this optical center if you need your glasses in a short period of time." It appears they have never been trained in customer satisfaction. read more
