My daughter appointments never take drastically long. The different frames to choose from is wonderful. My daughter loves a variety of glasses and Schaeffer has the best. The prices can vary depending on what you're looking for and how much your inaurance cover. They can be pretty reasonable, but once again that depends on what you're looking for. Overall from my personal experience everything has been great!

I walked back and I went to a room where I was looking into a machine with the house and then the assistant proceeds to use a TOOL ON MY EYE that was JUST LAYING ON A CARDBOARD BOX and then proceeds after to PUT IT BACK ON THE CARDBOARD BOX!? I was shocked. I was going to mention this to the doctor but when the doctor came in, they seemed in a rush and truly didn't even greet me kindly. I was a new patient so I expected atleast a small introduction. I mentioned to the assistant about concern with floaters and the doctor didn't go over that. It all seemed rushed and no true concern. They were changing my prescription and not giving an explanation? If they did explain it wasn't in detail. It all felt rushed, odd and off putting. signed, sadly disappointed

The building is new and the interior design is clean and friendly. All of the staff at Magic City eye pleasant, kind, and fun to talk to. My eye exam was thorough and I enjoyed Dr. Cilimberg's "bedside manner". She made some adjustments til my RX and sent me to Christie to be fitted for a new pair of glasses. Christie had already done her homework ABC's figured out exactly what my insurance would cover for frames and lenses. There's a great selection in store and thankfully they had more than enough in my price range to try on. I enjoyed the time Christie spent with me and that she was honest with the ones I tried on. She was very helpful in guiding me to find a pair I mostly liked; but she was confident that another color available online may be more fitting on me. When I returned to pick up my order, she revealed the pair we selected in the new color. It was pretty and perfect! Changing insurance can be such a headache, but finding this new practice was a win!! See y'all in a year. In the meantime, visit this team for your next eye exam and glasses selection. You won't be sorry!

I haven't submitted a review in a while, but Red Mountain Eye Care deserves some love!…read more I've had an ongoing stye for the last few months that turned into a full blown infections a few weeks back. I couldn't get it to see my regular optimist so I called them for a last minute appointment. Not only did the receptionist put me at ease, but the doctor provided tons of feedback, solutions, and prescribed a regime that cleared it right up. A few weeks later my boyfriend and I returned for an eye exam. My boyfriend is legally blind and has trouble with optometrists in the past, but he loved Red Mountain Eye Care. They were friendly, easy-going, and really listened to the problems he was having with his vision. I would highly recommend this great practice!

There was no pressure to buy anything from them at all. The prices of their frames are a fraction of what I was used to at my former eye care facility and I was truly impressed by everyone I worked with. Dr. Gagnon performed a thorough exam and helped me to understand the changes my eyes have gone through and helped determine the perfect prescription for me. I will definitely be going back and recommending Red Mountain Eye Care to everyone I know!

Each year, there…read morehas been a problem with my glasses, my husband's glasses and my contact lenses The eyewear & contact lens staff seem to be very unorganized. They were supposed to mail me my contact lenses in 2025 and 2026. Each year, when I elect to have them mailed, the office sends me a text saying that they are at the office and ready for pick up. In turn, I have to leave work to get my contacts. My husband ordered eye glasses after his appointment, and it took them over a 6 weeks to finally locate them, after he had to continuously call to check on his order. In addition, my computer glasses still seem "off".....even after I provided them with the prescription from my eye doctor in Ohio. Although I'm pleased with Dr. McClintock and his professionalism, I cannot take the office staff being so unorganized. I'll be seeking a new facility for my eye care.

It's honestly made me feel like they are either too expensive or sneaking fees in. One thing I did notice is that my insurance did not pay for a contact exam this year because they changed their price and my insurance only pays under $65, their price is over $70. Idk it was a punch to the gut, I had surgery on my knee and cannot work right now so I did not expect to spend that out of pocket. I have only spent $300-$400 in the past. They also could have told me my insurance only covered glasses every other year...I did get a discount on my frames but my glasses were still $300 something because of the lenses. I had 2 other pairs of glasses from them and showed them that I really didn't want the "thinner" lens, I am very familiar with how thick my glasses are and how bad my vision is. It just seemed like highway robbery, because I am legally blind so I have to be able to see. I am definitely going to shop around next year and get prices from other places before going back because a lot of the things from last year's receipt and this year's did not match or add up. I may even get lasik at this point, I feel like it would be worth it instead of spending this kind of money out of pocket when I have insurance. My vision insurance did tell me to contact my health because it may be deemed "'medically necessary" but I was a nurse for 15 years and I feel like that's something that the company should've done when they saw my out of pocket cost. Idk. I'm sad, I've always loved this place but I def cannot spend this much money while also paying for vision insurance.
