I came there because I called ahead to make sure I could get glasses with my insurance. I paid for the eye exam (with my disability check) and after I chose glasses from the predetermined list I was TOLD to choose from, to be told my insurance is one you don't accept. Seriously, Does corporate approve of the way these stores are run? Years ago I always got my glasses here. However a few years ago after nobody waited on me for 20-30 minutes; I left and went somewhere else. A couple years ago i went into the store the store employee told me to look around and he'd be right back. He didn't come back so I left. While driving around back of the store I saw the employee vaping. Two years later I was in the store and while at the counter I notices the employee was keeping their one hand in a large purse, She had a damn cat in the purse. WTF read more

Went in to just pick up item for my daughter and had to wait for people getting exams. Terrible customer service and unfriendly.

I found frames on line that I liked but went to Vision for Less in Moline Il to make sure the bifocal was in the correct place after previous online order was a mess. Couldnt find the frame in the store. When I finally after 25 min got waited on the Customer Service lady just blandly stated oh we don't put those out because most of our customers dont spend that much on frames. Placed order and paid and then she tells me she has to order the frames because they cant use the only pair they have in stock and it will be two weeks to get my glasses. This is fraud to know this and then take my money before telling me. I ordered a second pair that where supposed to be ready in one hour. Two hours later I went back and they were not done because they got busy after I ordered them. How did people purchasing after me get their order filled before I did? I went home and waited for a text that the glasses were done. Never got one. Went back and complained to find out that oh your phone number is not correct...they had a number I have not have for over 8 years. I have gotten four pair of glasses since I changed my number and received text messages on the new number..how did it revert back to the land line? I called and found out my glasses had been there for days noone contacted me. It was the computers fault. Your methods are not ethical, your attitudes are very bad. No one is friendly. Went in to get a couple pairs of new frames, they took my name so I waited. A woman came in about 15 minutes after me and after waiting 35 minutes they called the other woman and helped her instead of me. I put down my 3 frames and went elsewhere, what crappy service. So many other places to spend your money and have better service. You have been warned! The date of my visit was on January 8th around 1:00. read more

My husband has had everyday glasses and work safety glasses ordered from V4L for years. I regret suggesting he go there as there is always an issue with the lenses. They've stamped the certified safety seal on in such a way that it obstructs his view. The prescription on the lenses have been wonky so that full vision is obstructed. This time both pairs of glasses were unsafe and unusable. He works with heavy equipment which requires peripheral vision. The techs made excuses that he should get used to the new lenses, his prescription change caused the issues and that they didn't carry that type of lenses anymore (but they could order them), etc. The optometrist said the prescription change was minimal (we have no issue with him). My husband has spent hours and HOURS at the store on multiple occasions trying to remedy the situation at the front counter. He finally got a refund tonight after spending more than 3 hours waiting for help. We're going somewhere else. NOT another Vision4Less. (P.S. Sorry he was cranky. Who could blame him?) read more

No issues getting an eye exam or picking out glasses. The problems always arises when it's time to go back and pick up the glasses. I went and waited 30 minutes and never got waited on and neither did the 2 elderly people waiting before me. After 30 minutes I had to leave so I wouldn't be late picking up my son. I came back and here I am again waiting and waiting, along with another customer who is picking up glasses. They have no problem answering the phone, walking by and talking to each other but they completely ignore those coming to pick up glasses that are already paid for. This has happened the other times I have come in for a problem with my glasses as well. This is a poorly run store. read more

Husband and I just got four pairs of glasses. Shanna N and Sasi helped us and were wonderful. We did have to return for adjustments and discovered my eyes can't handle polarized polycarbonate and through trial and error. These problems were all fixed at no extra cost. These employees were wonderful! This was hard to do when lines of people wanting help (more employees are hard to hire at the moment). They were personable and professional every time. Saved a ton of money, too. read more

I went to Vision for Less because typically I get the service I need. A few weeks ago I went in for new glasses. I couldn't see myself in the glasses as usual and picked a modern looking frame. I got my text for pick up n was happy to go so quickly. The fitter was like these are too broad for your bridge of nose and noted I shouldn't have picked them. I asked the girl getting if they'd work because they didn't feel right. She assured me they'd be good with adjusting. The fitter was like these aren't gonna work but I agreed to try. I've gone back twice for adjustments and still don't work out. I ask for exchange and I get worse adjustments and no exchange. I will never return- wasted money. Be careful of your seller. read more

Went to check out their $20 special and Courtney was above and beyond rude. If customer service was what she was getting paid for she needs to be fired! I've never been spoken to as if I was illiterate in my life. They definitely need new employees. Wow! read more

I have been going to Vision 4 Less in Moline, IL, for at least 8 years and I have always received excellent customer service. The store is clean and well maintained. The employees are knowledgeable and attentive and polite. On several occasions, they have gone out of their way to provide customer service that is over and beyond what is expected. I no longer live in the QC, but I still go there to get my glasses. I have nothing but great things to say about this company. read more
