Tech came out after 3 days and said the issue was created by another department within Mediacom. It was a known issue in apartment buildings. Other seniors in my mom's building were without internet, tv and phone. God help them if a senior without a phone has a medical emergency! They said they could not classify it as an outage which would get someone out sooner. It is a "maintenance" order and will be out in 48 hours. The public is not allowed to talk to the department that classifies whether it is an outage or not. The public is not allowed to speak to the maintenance department. Terrible company!

Then, if u report my internet down and ask for a refund, I'm told they'll only issue a refund after the outage has been fixed and I'd need to call back at that time. The only reason I'm still with them is because I currently have no other offerings where I live. I'll be moving on as soon as an option opens up for me.
