This is the worst experience I have ever had for any eye or other medical appt. Dr. Scott Wright seen me in March where I received my new eye glass prescription that even the optician questioned. My new glasses proved it was an incorrect prescription. When I went back in May for a prescription recheck and the prescription proved that the March prescription was incorrect he proceeded to tell me I had a hypoglycemic event which changed the numbers so drastically. He told me I probably don't know what that even means. I explained to him I worked in healthcare for 26 years as a lab tech, I do know what it means and I don't have issues with blood sugar. He told me he never wants to see me again and never come back to Vision Pro in Superior. This guy is a lot of things I won't go on about here, but he is no eye doctor. Vision Pro in Superior is going to have liability issues if you keep this quack around. read more

Don't see Scott Wright. He has the worst bedside manners. He rushed my eye exam. When I told him I couldn't tell the difference between the lenses on my left eye he said "make a quick choice. Fast. I don't care if you can't see the letters or if it's fuzzy" and he didn't show me the lenses again to compare. I did not like his rushed/fast method felt careless. I did not trust his judgement to give me an accurate prescription. I shared my concerns with him and he dismissed me. Saying he was "joking" when he said he didn't care if I could see the letters. I said it felt weird he was rushing the process and I like to take my time to compare especially when both lenses were so similar. Why didn't he make the letters bigger or take my answer when I said they were both the same? I couldn't believe his hostile attitude. I trusted my gut and left. I've been a customer for 10 years and had no problems with any other eye doctor there. He scoffed and said he has been working there for 20 years. Unreal. Did not apologize or try to reconcile. His ego was big and blinding him. I will not see him again. Good luck to whoever does. I hope he is more kind and patient with you. read more

Firstly, I had a wonderful experience receiving my eye exam here. The technician was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Upon arrival I found the woman at the front desk very abrupt and unfriendly. She made me feel very uncomfortable when I arrived for my appointment. I chose to overlook her apparent dislike for her job, since I had such a positive experience with my actual exam. However, I went into the store this evening (10/4) and I had thought that it closed at 7:00 (as it does the rest of the week). I walked in at 5:55 with my husband and the same girl behind the desk sighed, rolled her eyes, and said "we're closed." My husband and I were taken aback by her rude and abrupt demeanor. I completely understand that she had probably had a long day and wanted to go home. I've been there myself and I totally get it. There is not, however, any excuse to be so completely rude to customers. She could have simply said, "thanks for stopping, we're open from 9-7 tomorrow and I'd be happy to assist you then." But no, she starred us down, looked visibly annoyed by our presence, and spoke in a very disrespectful tone. Customer service makes or breaks a company. It is very unfortunate that this young woman represents such a professional place. I was going in to purchase 2 frames and my husband (who works long shifts) was going to help me pick them out. I will be moving my prescription somewhere else as I absolutely can not walk into that establishment again. I would love to recommend Visionpro to families and friends in the area. WROTE ME THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION! This eye doctor was very condescending and dismissive about my vision concerns leading me to believe that it was my fault that my vision was impaired. For several months I struggled with impaired vision until I finally made an appointment with an entirely different eye care place. Turns out he had written me the wrong prescription!! This new eye doctor gave me a corrected prescription, and my vision was corrected immediately. On top of that, there was a long wait for my appointment, and afterwards, the staff seemed clueless as to why I was there, trying to fit me for a new pair of glasses when I had clearly made a contact fitting appointment. Save yourself some time, stress, and money and go to Zen Eye Care in Duluth instead. read more

Went to them to get my son his first ever pair of glasses. They didn't provide any real help in looking for frames. When we went to order, the optician said we were good to go, but they still hadn't seen his prescription... When we went to go pick them up, they were the wrong frames. When I mentioned that to the optician - a different one than was there the day we ordered - her response, verbatim, was, "What do you want me to do about it?" Dr, Scot Wright was curt, rude, argumentative and seemed to be rushed. He absolutely refused to set my bifocal for computer distance. I have formally complained to HR about his hostile attitude. The remaining staff were wonderful. I recommend going to a different location. read more

Medicare covers an amount ($125) of new glasses purchased after cataract surgery. How is it a Vision Pro Optical employee can tell a customer on the first visit that they are a Medicare provider and then refuse to provide the Medicare required information when requested to file the claim? It seems I chose the wrong location to shop for glasses, as three different employees in the same store gave conflicting information. Upon checking with another location in Superior, I received another story as to why they could NOT provide a "Medicare supplier identification number." So yes, a very bad experience at this Superior location. Take your Medicare business elsewhere. read more

I went to the Vision Pro closer to Wal-mart on Tower Ave,I had just had my eyes examined some where else.The doctor at VP said she had given me the wrong prescription and he was very rude when speaking to me.I just went elsewhere and found out that my horrifying headaches are partly because he gave me the completely WRONG PRESCRIPTION! So now I need to pay for new glass' Also my husband went there and ended up with a new pair which we also believe aren't the correct prescription,but he refuses to step foot back in there.They got in the wrong frames for him,then they re-ordered and they still weren't exactly what he wanted,but took them anyway.Also I had to call three times to see if they were in yet.The first two times they said they were just getting ready to call me.The third time the guy there said they had called us twice.NOT TRUE since we have caller I.D.I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.Please don't waste your time or hard earned money,I wouldn't even give them one star,but you don't have anything lower than that read more

The eye doctor there was very rude and condescending. Tried to tell me that I was not answering him correctly. Well I've had my eyes tested since I was a small child and this is the first time in my 28 years I've had the eye doctor stop examining me and telling me I was doing it wrong. Also, they did a poor job on my glasses and the finishing came off the lenses. I am not the first person from the Duluth place that had a problem with them doing poorly on glasses. They used to do well but don't know what happened. read more
