I am writing about Fitness First Club in Randwick.   How it got to become a "platinum" gym is…read morebeyond comprehension.  The equipment in this club is old and not maintained, and hasn't been for years -  nothing works properly, you just have to go on any treadmill or cross trainer to see if something on that equipment does not work. Yesterday I ran on the treadmill only to find the treadmill next to me was making a very loud noise that the person using it had to leave AND the treadmill I was using also made a noise. This is not the only equipment that makes a rather loud noise, there are many others, I would be surprised if you find one equipment where all systems and functions are working properly.  In addition, some of the lockers, in both men and women, do not close properly or don't work at all. It is not surprising that members are no longer going there and leaving in masses and attending other clubs, I am one of them. As a consequence Randwick FF management sees it fit to provide a very generous discount to schools around the area, to get the numbers up, now the gym is full of 14-15 yr old boys using the equipment upstairs, unsupervised by a trainer - it feels Iike I am attending a high school instead of a gym. The most concerning thing about this is that boys of this age are still growing and any unsupervised weight lifting is very damaging to their growth and health -  just so Randwick FF can get their attendance number up. Disgraceful! FF is failing in their duty of care and doubt if parents were told unsupervised weight training while their son is still growing is damaging to their growth and health. I hope you take some action because no other gym around that area  has the same problem and is so poorly managed and maintained.

Michael did it for me within a very short time without any waiting game or given incorrect records. he is a great ambassador and a great asset for the FF brands . he is a role model for other club managers to follow . The gym offers lots of classes also from yoga all the way to maternity classes. The staff in the gym are very friendly and facilities are kept clean. I usually go to the gym in the early morning and always find that I have enough options in terms of equipment. The gym can be busy late evening but still there is enough options for everyone I feel. The gym offers an outside area too which is great to go when you have worked up a sweat. The outside also has a world class view out over Sydney harbour which makes your sweating worth it.

Yet some of it was good…read more One of the staff could sense I was a bit nervous, and then gave me a glass of water which I needed. Maria (my therapist) was also quite helpful. Came here for a colonic irrigation/hydrotherapy session, and the hardest part was putting the catheter in you know where. Had forms to fill in, and then they almost forgot to staple my voucher to those forms. You are escorted to your own room, and you have a bell to press if you need any assistance, and then a therapist attends to you. In the first five minutes of the treatment I was in extreme pain, almost crying. All I had to do was push the water out. I thought it was coming out. I had to push like I was almost in labour, and bingo I felt so much better. The bulk of my crap coming out, and yet there was about seven more litres of water to flush. I already used a litre at this stage for 90% of my crap. No wonder why I was told I was constipated which wasn't true. You use an electric massager to massage your abs for an easier detox. Maria gave me a heat pack, I was ever grateful for that. Then the rest of the treatment flowed and I did not want it to end. Towards the end I was just flushing clear water back. Why do they want you to do four sessions when results were achieved in one? This treatment will set you back $129 per session, yet it is worth it. The painful part is at the beginning, especially when things are stuck up at you.
