Once I spoke with Nick ( the owner ) there was a sense of trust I felt, he understood the project more than any other contractor I spoke with so far. He quickly came out to perform an estimate, and I dreaded the idea of putting money out for a new deck.. Not only was his estimate insanely reasonable, he didn't suggest a new deck at all. He repaired some boards that were rotted and loose, and refinished the whole deck. My jaw dropped from the results, not only is IronRidge Contracting great at building decks, they are equally as great at repairing them! His estimate and final price lined up so well, he even offers financing, which I happily took advantage of this time around. When it comes to decks Nick from Iron Ridge knows what he's doing, saying he's an expert is an understatement. Mind you this was for wood paneling which there are about a hundred different options...he didn't even mention which type of wood he wanted to use or go over finishes. He had no clue what he was talking about, only that his price was right and I was wrong for suggesting an alternative. I would never sign a contract with him. If anything went wrong, he would lie through his teeth. He's a law suit waiting to happen. The design work is beautiful as is the craftsmanship. It's a shame to have such a bad owner.
