I had went to Renee at Mod Squad by a referral and she didn't listen to a word I said, did what she wanted twice! My hair was not blonde I was brassy blonde very disappointed and needed it fixed. Jaye got me in last minute, listened to what I wanted, listened to what had just been done a couple days before so she didn't damage it further and produced a phenomenal color. I was so relieved, happy and ecstatic that it turned out so beautiful even after all the processing. Jaye gave me a small bottle of product to use free of charge to recover my hair from the processing that had been done in the short period of time and recommended a good shampoo and conditioner which I purchased from her. She produced a beautiful color, used amazing products on my hair and could comb right through it, didn't pull of it out leaving it on the floor like Renee and never burned me with the hair dryer. Look at the pictures I have attached and you will be amazed. Jaye listens to her customers and cares about the health of your hair and making you feel beautiful with your results which isn't that what pampering is all about?! Her years of experience coloring really shined through on this job I presented her with. Jaye had her work cut out for her this time and she came through!! Thank you so much Jaye for your hard work and time saving me. I will fly back to MI every time to see you!

He repeatedly checks in. He's super warm and personable without being intrusive or pushy. I shouldn't mention this in case he's reading it (!), but for what you get (five stars), his prices are very fair. His scheduling and communication from an administrative perspective are also super professional and a breeze to deal with. I feel really pampered and respected when I'm there, but equally important, he is amazing as a stylist/colorist! Love this place and love Codee.

During my first visit, he listened to me fumble my way through the explanation of what I normally go for in terms of style, and then he figured out how to do that - with his own stylish twist. I love it. I found my stylist. Part of me doesn't want to tell you about it so I can have the booking calendar all to myself. That just wouldn't be right though - you should know about Studio C. This past year has been hard enough. You deserve style. You'll get that and great conversation at Studio C. Five stars.

This place falls right in the middle. It's cute. Right in downtown Saline. There's street parking (I always get a spot right out front) and also a parking lot in back. They have a small Keurig station inside and comfy chairs to sit in while you wait. I love the exposed brick on the inside. I've been bringing my curly haired daughter here since she was about 10, after Zoe & Joey closed. She has seen a couple different stylists, but has decided that she likes Angela the best. She does a great job with curls and is very gentle. They also offer lower-priced child cuts for 12 & under. However, this is definitely not a kid salon! I would not recommend for any child who is not able to sit still on their own. More recently, my hubby has even started getting his haircut here! He sees Candy, and has been a few times now. He has told me that he likes that she notes what she did to his hair in the computer so when he goes back she knows exactly what to do/what he likes. So.... The reason this place gets 4 stars instead of 5.... Avoid ModSquad at all costs if you are looking to get your nails done. For a pedicure, they are sorely lacking.... No massage chair to sit in. Basically a small barely heated tub for your feet. As far as finger nails, I wanted to get an acrylic fill but they don't do that here. My mani/pedi experience here was terrible. And for a mani/pedi, I was seriously here for about 4 hours. The poor girl truly had no idea what she was doing. Also very small polish selection to choose from. I would not advise anyone to ever go here for nails. They simply aren't equipped and should just stick with the hair aspect and not nails. Lastly, their website is easy to use and you can book online. My family will continue to get hair services at ModSquad for the foreseeable future!
