BEWARE!!! I was…read morecharged $723 for a visit that lasted less than 5 minutes. I barely sat down before the appointment was over. All that happened was a quick conversation and I was asked to pee in a cup. That's it. Before the appointment, I specifically asked the front desk for an upfront estimate with my insurance (United Healthcare) because I didn't want any surprise bills. They told me the estimated cost would be around $243, which I paid upfront at the office. Later I checked my itemized bill and saw the total charge was $723. My insurance paid $0, and now I'm being billed another $141.57 on top of the $243 I already paid. So somehow a 5-minute visit and urine sample equals $723. What's even more ridiculous is I was told self-pay would have been around $275, meaning using insurance actually made the visit hundreds of dollars more expensive. This kind of pricing feels extremely misleading. If the office would like to publicly explain how a 5-minute visit and urine sample justifies a $723 charge, I'd genuinely love to hear it.

If you looking for real solutions and a game plan to resolve your issue, this is not the place. Their focus appears to be on prescribing higher doses of meds or surgery. No deep dive into the root cause(s) of your issues. I was told this is just a part of getting older. I could not accept that. I started following this Dr. online and they focus on strategies to get you off medication. Their excuses ran the gamut from Dr. Is on vacation to no operating rooms available at the hospital. My ex is 74, easily confused, non-confrontational and on Medicare. When I finally convinced him to let them know that I could speak to them, they suddenly found an OR available. Dr. Woo was careful to show me what a great job he had done, but when I asked about the damage that could have been caused by the prolonged use of a catheter, he quickly started blaming prostrate medication...medication HE prescribed! Fortunately, removal went off well and he is able to "void" so far. A lawsuit is still not out of the question for the pain and suffering caused by this neglect.

After many infections my ER Doctor told me he thought it needed to be removed. I called and they had an open appointment that day. But my V. A. Paper work didn't updated. She would call back. Never have yet. 2 weeks. They care more about the money then patients. V.A. has already paid out over 45,000.00 in medical bills already. They can't float an office visit of 120.00 . After Dr Christopher Keith left they lost there best Doctor. I had the other two and they are just a Doc in a box not as good. So they will leave you hanging even if you are in need. So after two weeks I removed the suprapubic tube MYSELF! I'm doing so much better. Sometimes it's just better to do your own research on your condition and be your own Dr. I'm better now NO HELP FROM THEM. STAY AWAY

I visited this office in November 2025, twice (2nd time for a 2nd round of lab work, which wasn't…read morecheap). I'm still waiting on my prescription as of January 15th. First, they will push whatever the local pharmaceutical rep is selling. Once you find out that's not covered by insurance, they'll send another prescription to the pharmacy. Then they'll take 2-3 weeks to send the authorization, during which time the pharmacy will drop your standing prescription. I have been to the pharmacy multiple times, called the Dr's office multiple times, spoken with my insurance multiple times, and still do not have my prescription after waiting for 2 months. They milk your insurance, push pharma rep preferred name brands (likely with kickbacks), and don't really care how long it takes to get your medication to you. I eventually gave up and will now have to start the process over with another urologist. Save yourself and headache and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Quite possibly the worst experience I have had with any medial office.

This I knew because Georgia Urology did my procedure seven years ago. So he wanted to put in a new stent, I told him a day before the procedure do not under any circumstances. So he didn't and it's a miracle "all the stones" were removed this time... So I was called in early for the procedure, and prepped immediately to go back, I was so happy. Only to find out the wait was indefinite, about 90 min. The nurses were tired of me asking so they decided to turn up the music at the nurses station, very rude. When I arrived financial acknowledged they felt bad about my night in the ER! As they should but it was nice of her to say. She was the most competent person I dealt with in the entire office. So they remove the stent/stones and I nearly bled to death when the nurse took out the IV. There's a lot of incompetence and greed. The doctor has the knowledge but chooses the most expensive way to remove stones. I feel like this is a pill mill, but for surgical procedures....so they can over charge you and your insurance company. I'm a little guy, but I believe I need to do more than write reviews about this. This is too serious. They are getting away with neglect and bad practices, maybe even more.... If you have had a bad surgical, or billing experience with Advanced Urology, I would like to hear your story! If you haven't, save your time, money and maybe your life by going somewhere else.
