I decided to go to CHOA (the best ER!), and their doctors said his left ear was CLEARLY infected and his right ear seemed to be in the beginning stages. So glad I got a second opinion, would not go back to Piedmont Urgent Care!

I got a cream which has been helping the rash I came in for but he told me I would need to use it twice a day for two weeks but the cream I received was not enough. I called back to ask if I could be sent more of the cream to follow his treatment plan of twice a day and then if it did not improve go see dermatology. The representatives on the phone told me the same provider was not at the location today and the current provider did not feel comfortable sending more cream in which I understand. I asked if a message could be sent directly to Paul Saby but instead the "nurse" who could relay message had a condescending attitude and told me they had connected me to her since I didn't want to accept the initial explanation from the first representative. I was not asking for a refill for the cream, I simply wanted to follow the treatment plan of using the cream twice a day for two weeks and I knew I would need more cream to finish out the two weeks especially since the cream is working.

I went to see Dr. Molina after getting a piece of wood lodged in my hand, and I received the best care possible from the moment I walked through the door. Dr. Molina was wonderful--gentle, clear, thorough, and highly professional. His genuine demeanor immediately put me at ease and reassured me that I was in the right place and in excellent hands. In today's world, it is rare to find a physician and surgeon with such outstanding bedside manner. Dr. Molina truly cares about his patients, and that level of compassion is both refreshing and admirable. The office staff was equally impressive--friendly, professional, and welcoming. Every time I visited, I was greeted with warm smiles and treated with kindness and respect. My wife and I both went in for our annual physicals and we both got bills for what was supposed to be a free preventative services. Mine was $50 and my wife's was over $350! After a dozen calls to their billing department (who is never available and when you finally reach someone they claim to not be authorized to make a decision) they disclosed the reason for the $350 is because the PA asked my wife a question (which she answered) and they considered that not to be "preventative care" and so without any disclosure charged her over $350 for a separate office visit which our insurance refused to cover. Talk about entrapment! If you use them, be very careful to not answer any questions the Doctor ask you as they will use this as an opportunity to hit you with a sneaky bill. It is nice they respond to the reviews in this forum, but please note this is not helpful as the phone number they give is the same one that you can't get ahold of anyone in billing and the email they give, no one responds to except to say they are unauthorized to help.
