She is so kind, relatable, easy to talk to, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and completely at ease. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and cares about her clients. I treated myself to the Express Facial along with an eyebrow wax and tint, and I left feeling so refreshed. Everything turned out beautifully! The spa itself is spotless, calming, and has such a relaxing atmosphere. Honestly, if I hadn't been enjoying my conversation with Morgan so much, I probably would have fallen asleep during my facial it was that relaxing! I've been to several spas in Palm Springs over the years, but I could never find that same quality, cleanliness, and peaceful vibe here in Yucca Valley. I had honestly given up looking until I found Cactus & Oak Spa. Now I don't see myself going anywhere else. If you're thinking about booking an appointment, do it. She was asked about upper lip threading but my friend declined the attendant did it anyway and charged her for it. My friend is desperately trying to scrub off her black brows with no luck. Ladies go to a salon to get a pick me up not to be embarrassed to walk in public. She tried to up sale her products after she knew my friend was already disappointed. Please do not go there

I called for an appointment and had to wait a week, but if they're that good, they're busy, right? So, I went in this morning for my appointment with Missy, what a wonderful woman! I haven't cut my hair in over 2 years (yikes!) and we decided what would look best for me. We chatted and she cut, professional all the way, I must say. I very much enjoyed the chit-chat and love my cut! I really liked the way the salon is set up, it feels personal and not all bare and open like most others. I'll be back!

She mentioned many times today how busy it was and on phone a lot taking appointments while doing our nails. She was definitely in a hurry. I've seen nail jobs she did on other people that posted pictures and so I know she could do better. The attention to detail today wasn't there. I have 2 crooked nails and mid paint job, by end just glue everywhere that I was cleaning out while daughter was getting her fill. It wasn't really until we were outside in better lighting that we both noticed many bumps, bubbles and scruffy spots, and crookedness to our nails. We went back and she proceeded to fix one of my crooked nails and then asked, "that better?"--it was worse! So I said, "no, we're going somewhere else to get them fixed." I knew that if she thought it was better, we were waisting our time. I did ask if we can get a credit of sorts since now we have to pay to get them fixed elsewhere. She said they "don't do refunds." I said, "oh, well not coming back." This place fell hard since when they first opened. It was dirty too and had homemade wrist supports made of duct tape and zip lock bags. Will not come there again. I should have known we were in for a bad visit when she showed me a French nail she did just finish on her previous customer and it looked all messy. Customer beware. Try the other ones in town, that's my advice.

Cindy is fantastic! I went today for Botox and one syringe of lip filler. She never tried to upsell…read moreon extra stuff and really paid attention to what I wanted and took time to make sure my lips were perfect. I needed to take a break between some of the needle sticks and she made sure I was comfortable and ready before she continued and I never felt rushed. Will 100% be coming back regularly for my Botox !!! So exciting to find a great nurse out here :) I will come back with some after pictures once my lip swelling goes down and Botox kicks in !
