Love the restrooms here!. They are big, very well lighted, clean and CIVILIZED...and by civilized I mean 21st century amenities like.... Disposable seat covers! No more TP'ing toilet seats like Cro Magnon women...we can now approach the throne like gentlewomen! You also have the choice to either blow dry your hands or use paper towels, which sounds like nothing unless you're somewhere where you have to use the hand dryers and you're slightly OCD about touching things

This rest stop has many helpful amenities in addition to restrooms and everything inside and and out is neat and clean Lots of parking for both personal and commercial vehicles (like tour buses and cargo trucks) that are positioned right at the rest stop building There are entrance doors on both sides of the building, the side with the LOVE sign is the front with restrooms on right and visitor center on left There are two sets of restrooms for both men and women, and all are in rooms with a separate entrance and a separate exit door They have automatic hand soap, automatic water, and automatic paper towels so you won't need to use your hands There are vending machines both in the main corridor between restrooms and also right of the main entrance doors with recycling and trash receptacles - I didn't check out the prices or selection There's a large general map with a "you are here" marking - I'm not sure whether it would be difficult to decipher or not If you have concerns about this center, there's a number you can call or a UPC code you can scan They have a small playground outside for the kiddies Very clean, quiet, cool rest stop with a visitor center, restroom, and snack food items which is a great place to stretch your legs and catch your breath a bit before you head to your intended destination

Welcome to Virginia, from North Carolina on I-85.

Not your average highway rest area, this welcome center has the usual bathrooms and vending machines but there is also a large lobby with helpful people who will get you set up with Virginia hotels and other tourist destinations. Not sure where you are? There's a big map with "You are here." Bathrooms were VERY clean.

Very nice , spacious and exceptionally clean rest stop. There were a few friendly gentlemen there thoroughly cleaning when we stopped in. There is a visitor center open until 5pm , bathrooms and vending machines with snacks and drinks. Everything was well lit and felt safe. Bonus: the adorable litter of feral black and white kitties ! We fed them biscuits :)

Outside tables under shelter. They have a few BBQ grills there also.

The cleanest and most inviting rest stop I have EVER been at. Very large and clean bathrooms. Lots of vending machines with large snack& drink options. They had inside seating to eat near the vending machines and outside picnic tables that were right near the parking lot & under shelter, which were a perfect spot for the fam to have a quick lunch. And the information center is really helpful. A young lady by the name of Anna really helped me out with some questions I had. I see Virginia tax payers money being well spent at this rest stop.

    Lots of snacks.

Bathrooms are fairly clean but vending machine options are quite limited. Virtually no snacks are available without cheese or dairy.

Well lit welcome center, clean bathrooms, and has enough foot traffic to feel safe.

Always clean and well lit. Gas is reasonable compared to most stops and they try their hardest to keep the bathrooms fresh.

Use cash if you can when using the vending machines, as the cost increases ten cents when using credit instead.

We're typically passing through this place when it's dark, so it's nice that the area is well lit. The landscaping here is also appealing. Plenting of parking, with cars on one side and trucks on the other. The Welcome Center itself is separate from the restrooms and vending area and is located on the left side. The main building has 2 family restrooms, a men's restroom (to the left) and the women's restrooms are 3 total spaces. I can imagine that if this rest stop ever sees an influx of visitors, there would be a flow and efficiency due to the availability of women's spaces. The spaces throughout have been clean and well maintained with functioning toilets, faucets, and well supplied paper products. On the further left of the main building, there are vending machines. The water fountains have a refill station for your personal water bottles and is located to the left of the women's restrooms. When nature calls, we highly recommend stopping by this Welcome Center!

The tourist booth closes early and mostly only open during morning and afternoon hours. They have a nice state welcome sign for photos and outdoor resting/seating area front. Plenty of open space for pets and a 24/7 snack machine space that takes credit cards.
