We were on our way home from World Golf Village area. We decided to pull for a quick bathroom break. The rest area was nice. But, the bathrooms were another story. It's hard to keep it clean, when you have so many people coming and going. The janitors do the best they can. I blame the low score on the people/visitors. Not the rest area.

This rest area is located just off of I95 Northbound in Northern St John's County, Fl. It is located just 2 miles North of exit CR 210 exit 329 and just before Old St Augustine Rd exit 335. Waymarking for those of you that can plug coordinates into your GPS: N 30° 05.495 W 081° 29.821 I just had to Yelp about the fact that both this rest area, and the Southbound rest area locations are so very well maintained! There are pay phones, a lot of covered picnic areas and the most importantly the bathrooms and grounds are clean. The vending area is ok with several machines, but they are primarily for drinks. As noted with the Southbound review this Northbound rest area location has a warning sign posted around the water area making sure that wayward travelers be very aware of the possibility of venomous snakes that may be stalking that immediate waterway.

Clean with picnic area. I like the design of this rest stop. In addition, they have really great coffee vending machines :)

I really appreciate how close the North Carolina Welcome Center is from the border upon entering…read morefrom Virginia. We're typically passing through this place when it's dark, so it's nice that the area is well lit. The landscaping here is also appealing. Plenting of parking, with cars on one side and trucks on the other. The Welcome Center itself is separate from the restrooms and vending area and is located on the left side. The main building has 2 family restrooms, a men's restroom (to the left) and the women's restrooms are 3 total spaces. I can imagine that if this rest stop ever sees an influx of visitors, there would be a flow and efficiency due to the availability of women's spaces. The spaces throughout have been clean and well maintained with functioning toilets, faucets, and well supplied paper products. On the further left of the main building, there are vending machines. The water fountains have a refill station for your personal water bottles and is located to the left of the women's restrooms. When nature calls, we highly recommend stopping by this Welcome Center!

The tourist booth closes early and mostly only open during morning and afternoon hours. They have a nice state welcome sign for photos and outdoor resting/seating area front. Plenty of open space for pets and a 24/7 snack machine space that takes credit cards.
