I wish they had some fast food options across the street but I noticed on the gps there was a Wawa, Bojangles, Walmart and Dollar General in close driving distance. The free breakfast was on the smaller side but decent: waffle maker, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, sausage, yogurt, muffins, cereal, bread, juice and milk. Tea and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. We would stay here again for the night on a roadtrip. It was quiet and clean and I appreciated the friendly staff.

I had to come in town for the death of a loved one and am at high-risk for contracting CoVID-19. The room was clean and even when we wiped everything down there wasn't any dust nor dirt on our wipes. The location was very convenient to the highway and the local stores which made it easy to grab food and snacks before they closed early. This is one of few hotels that still accepts pets which was a relief because a lot of pet boarding hotels are closed. Not having to worry about my dog was a relief in itself. The bedding was cleaned but one comforter had a stain that wasnt bleached out completely. There werent any extra cleaned comforters for my sister to switch, so that is an area of opportunity. Shout out to Mr. Randy!!! Mr. Randy took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. I called before booking and asked about 5000 questions. He answered and was so nice and patient. When we checked in he was just as nice as he was on the phone. He made us laugh and I felt he really cared about our stay. He deserves a raise. I would definitely stay here again and as I have familial ties in the area, that is very likely. A checklist of what specifically has been done to disinfect in each room would be comforting. We still came in and disinfected everything with Lysol and wiped everything down due to me being high risk but it would have helped to easy my mind. Requiring guests and staff to wear their masks in common areas would help as well. Though the location is not in an highly affected area, there are guests coming from Atlanta, New York, Florida and even Michigan (based on license plates in the parking lot.) A lot of the staff were wearing their masks under their chins or with their noses exposed. They could unknowingly contract the virus and pass it to others including high risk individuals in the area.
