There was no knocking - just trying to force the door (luckily I had it bolted). The first was around 8am, then again at 10am (check-out is at 11). There was a nice pool that we didn't use and a small playground for kids, great place to burn off some energy. There wasn't a whole lot in the area besides a few sit down restaurants, but it was an easy find off 95. The hotel was adjacent to an Exxon gas station and a Seven Eleven. I wish they had some fast food options across the street but I noticed on the gps there was a Wawa, Bojangles, Walmart and Dollar General in close driving distance. The free breakfast was on the smaller side but decent: waffle maker, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, sausage, yogurt, muffins, cereal, bread, juice and milk. Tea and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. We would stay here again for the night on a roadtrip. It was quiet and clean and I appreciated the friendly staff.

The room was also hot and the air conditioning didn't seem to function properly all the time. The hotel wasn't particularly clean. There was a weird film all over everything. The mirrors in the room had steaks on them as if someone wiped them down, but not sure with what because they just looked dirty. The dishwasher had splatter stains on the front and it just felt generally unclean. For the most part the hotel was quiet, but my room was right across from the elevator so there was that to contend with. On the plus side, the room was spacious, the TV and remote worked, the fridge was clean, and the shower water was hot. I won't return here because of the odor. Customer skills were lacking. The room was ok, but very dated. The high light was the breakfast. Always good, filling and fresh.
