The care that was received by Dr Glaizer, Lindsey and Millie was so professional and compassionate. Highly recommend and appreciative.

Wow!  What a first impression.  You know that old saying; "There is never a second chance to make a…read moregood first impression".  But to be honest, this review is not about Dr. Rebman.  Because I did not get the opportunity to see him as a patient.  This is primarily about his gatekeeper.  Somebody by the name of Christa; the person responsible for scheduling appointments.  She was rude, unprofessional and simply refused to schedule me an appointment. In a distasteful tone, she told me to call back when I get insurance. Even after she stated urology associates of richmond do see uninsured patients.  She claimed they have to verify my insurance before an appointment could be made.  And just when I thought she was about to schedule an appointment, she began to give other reasons (excuses) why she could not schedule an appointment ("We don't do wellness checks.", "You need to see your primary care physician and allow them to do the blood work first." & "Allow them to check your prostate gland.").  I hate to think this was a racial thing; since I do not know this lady (nor does she know me).  But something had to trigger her to act so repugnant. Needless to say, why would I trust this practice to have anything to do with my healthcare.

Being diagnosed with a BRCA1 gene mutation in my 20s was overwhelming enough -- but going into…read moresurgical menopause at just 30 years old felt like another life-altering blow. I honestly didn't know what to expect or how I'd manage the sudden, intense symptoms. Thankfully, I found Dr. Nathan Guerette. From the very first appointment, Dr. Guerette made me feel heard -- truly heard. He didn't rush me, dismiss my concerns, or treat me like I was just another patient on a schedule. He took the time to explain what was happening with my body, helped me understand the long-term impacts of early menopause, and most importantly, reassured me that I didn't have to suffer through it. What sets Dr. Guerette apart is his incredible bedside manner. There's a calmness and compassion in the way he speaks that immediately puts you at ease. He listened without judgment, validated my experience, and worked with me to find a solution tailored to my needs -- not a one-size-fits-all plan. That solution came in the form of biosynthetic hormone pellet implants, and let me tell you: they have been transformational. Within weeks of receiving the pellets, I noticed a huge reduction in hot flashes, night sweats, brain fog, and the emotional rollercoaster I had been riding. I finally started to feel like myself again -- not just surviving, but living. I'm so grateful to Dr. Guerette for his expertise, empathy, and unwavering support through one of the most challenging transitions of my life. If you're facing something similar -- BRCA1, early menopause, hormone disruption -- don't wait or try to tough it out alone. Go see Dr. Guerette. He listens. He cares. And he knows how to help.

I greatly valued the opportunity to meet with lactation consultant Thais Issa-Weedon at Virginia…read moreWomen's Center. Since I recently had my first baby, I had so much to learn about breastfeeding. Thais provided specific instructions on positioning and gauging whether or not my baby was eating based on watching for her swallows. She also did some weighted feeds so that I could see how much milk my baby was getting. Thais worked with me to create a feeding schedule, which helped my baby gain the appropriate weight. She was patient and understanding about the joys and challenges of being a first-time mom, and she helped me think realistically about how to meet my breastfeeding goals. As a young mom herself, Thais spoke from knowledge and experience. I met with her two times in person and a third time virtually, and I was appreciative of how graciously she answered my many questions!! What a resource for moms! Thank you, Virginia Women's Center, for including Thais on your staff!

I just got a lovely collections notice in the mail today. These are charges for their nurse and dr asking me if any of the problems in my previous appointment were any better. I answered their questions and they charged me for a "sick visit". I have never had any of their providers do that. On top of that they switched my provider without notifying me. Mine evidently left the practice but a heads up would have been nice so that I could pick who I wanted to see. I finally get to my appointment after she rescheduled me twice with this new person and she is clearly SICK with no mask on. It was a horribly awkward appointment on top of that. I also contracted MRSA from there in 2024 and my daughter also got it when I went for my mammogram in 2025. I should have stopped going after the first issue. I have other issues but will not leave them in my review. I will never be back and will never recommend them to anyone.
