Tim and his team are very knowledgeable and service is prompt. More than once, Wireless city has helped me out of a bind. Most recently I ended up with a cell phone that was frozen due to an update that failed. The closest Telus dealer said they could help me get the phone fixed under warranty if I provided my proof of purchase. The problem with that is the dealer where I got the phone is out of business and finding proof of purchase would be difficult for me. Wireless City was able to verify warranty just by entering my phone number into their system. Even though there are several Telus dealers that are closer to me, my preference is to deal with Wireless City.

My review with the Mobile Klinik, Sherwood Park location, begins when I received a notification on…read moremy phone regarding a charging issue with my Pixel 6a. Google issued a warranty service announcement regarding the battery where there was greater potential for battery failure/explosion after receiving 375 charging cycles. As my phone reached this level, I was informed by Google to get my battery replaced under warranty at an authorized repair centre. The closest Google authorized repair centre near me is Mobile Klinik, Sherwood Park location. I received Googles battery notification just prior to Christmas. Upon checking online for verification that I qualified for replacement, I contacted Mobile Klinik and spoke to one of their technicians, explained the situation. Mobile Klinik had the battery in stock, however, due to the nature of the repair, often times the screen will need to be replaced due to cracking while disassembling the phone. As I needed a new screen anyways, a choice was made to hold off on the repair until a replacement screen could be sourced and provided. I called mid January to check on the progress of my repair and was informed that another Mobile Klinik had replacement screens for my phone and arrangements had been made to transfer the screens to the Sherwood Park location. Calling the following week, while speaking with a female at the store, I was informed that no record of my repair was pending. Further, I was told that the battery was not covered under a warranty repair (as per Google) and I would be charged for the battery, screen (which I would have been anyways) and all labour. The quote was in excess of $300.00; far more than what my phone is worth. Needless to say, I didn't follow through with the work. Returning to Google, I proceeded with an alternative pathway for compensation for the defective battery and received a pay out for USD$100.00, transferred to my bank account. I went online and sourced a new screen and battery for my phone at a fraction of the price quoted by Mobile Klinik and will be conducting my own repair of which I am more than capable of. I would not recommend and will not proceed with the Mobile Klinik Sherwood Park location for any repair or purchase going forward.

The coverage wasn't the greatest and it never worked when I was visiting my mom in Leduc but for $35.00/month I certainly was not going to complain. For a discount service provider they did and have continued to offer a great selection of phones. It's important to remember though with places like these since there is no contract there is no opportunity to purchase the phones for cheap and buying a phone outright can be pricey. I made the move to switch from Mobilicity to Chatr several months ago and don't regret it in the least. It is pretty much the same deal as Mobilicity with a much better service coverage area. Times have changed and alot of other providers have entered the discount cell service market yet Mobilicity refuses to evolve to stay competitive. Their service area has literally stayed the same since I purchased a phone with them two years ago. I walked past their kiosk in City Center today and had to scoff at the sign that advised customers there is a fee for paying your bill in store versus online or over the phone...an awfully cocky move in my opinion from a company that is floundering when it comes to providing good customer service in a crowded market with many other different and better choices.

I had my iPhone repaired by another shop, and cellular toy shop showed me that some parts were missing from the previous repair and replaced them for free of charge. They are very friendly and have no hesitations for letting you take you time to try on different clothes. I feel like the price I pay for their clothing translates to good service at the store.

We were quite pleased that there were multiple options (and also pleased about the buy one pair get one half off promotion that was going at the time). We were greeted by the staff upon our entrance and they pointed out where the toddler shoes were which was lovely. I went and checked the sale racks but none were available in the toddler's size which was fine, as there were so many great pairs to try. The toddler ended up picking out two pairs of shoes (one that lit up! and another very fun pair too!) and we were able to check out quickly and got a nice backpack/bag to carry them in. I liked how the staff were so kind to the kid and that they were so helpful. I personally find Skechers comfortable so I probably ought to come shop here someday for myself too as I'm all out of closed toed casual but work appropriate flats... but perhaps that's an adventure for the fall or at least for another day.

It is nice to have something like this in the capilano area, where shopping options are limited, but I was hoping for better. I left with nothing.
