My review with the Mobile Klinik, Sherwood Park location, begins when I received a notification on…read moremy phone regarding a charging issue with my Pixel 6a. Google issued a warranty service announcement regarding the battery where there was greater potential for battery failure/explosion after receiving 375 charging cycles. As my phone reached this level, I was informed by Google to get my battery replaced under warranty at an authorized repair centre. The closest Google authorized repair centre near me is Mobile Klinik, Sherwood Park location. I received Googles battery notification just prior to Christmas. Upon checking online for verification that I qualified for replacement, I contacted Mobile Klinik and spoke to one of their technicians, explained the situation. Mobile Klinik had the battery in stock, however, due to the nature of the repair, often times the screen will need to be replaced due to cracking while disassembling the phone. As I needed a new screen anyways, a choice was made to hold off on the repair until a replacement screen could be sourced and provided. I called mid January to check on the progress of my repair and was informed that another Mobile Klinik had replacement screens for my phone and arrangements had been made to transfer the screens to the Sherwood Park location. Calling the following week, while speaking with a female at the store, I was informed that no record of my repair was pending. Further, I was told that the battery was not covered under a warranty repair (as per Google) and I would be charged for the battery, screen (which I would have been anyways) and all labour. The quote was in excess of $300.00; far more than what my phone is worth. Needless to say, I didn't follow through with the work. Returning to Google, I proceeded with an alternative pathway for compensation for the defective battery and received a pay out for USD$100.00, transferred to my bank account. I went online and sourced a new screen and battery for my phone at a fraction of the price quoted by Mobile Klinik and will be conducting my own repair of which I am more than capable of. I would not recommend and will not proceed with the Mobile Klinik Sherwood Park location for any repair or purchase going forward.

The last time I went in here, I used to sales department, not the service department. I found that…read morethe sales department was just like any other telus store: commission driven sales associates who will do whatever they need to to have a sale. I came in here with my boyfriend and he bought an iPhone. I wanted to get a new phone but telus wouldn't give on a mid contract offer. The salesperson told me to call them tomorrow and they would budge. She finished by asking if we would come after 12pm the next day because that was when she started and she would really love to help us. Yea, you would really love the commission off of us. A day later, my jealousy took over and I decided I needed an iPhone too. I went into telus and I stood in line for 30 minutes while I watched 3 salespeople help out customers. One of the salespeople ended up dashing out after helping his customer. I thought it was ridiculous that he wouldn't stay to hep out the long and impatient line that had formed. I was really unimpressed with the sales side of this Edmonton Cellular. I was actually annoyed that I ended up giving the sale to that women who had helped me before. She hadn't even really done much. My boyfriend convinced me to get the iPhone more than the salesperson did! Enjoy your undeserved commission.

I don't write reviews because I know no one gives a shit but I have to say the one installer I had here actually cared, corrected a problem with the initial installation went above and beyond to fix the problem and totally deserves some credit and a raise. I seriously felt like a customer again and it felt truly strange. No fees, no hidden costs, no up-selling, no bullshit. They came in, fixed it, and I'm now paying for what I signed up for originally. Sad when a company does what it says it's going to do becomes a 5 star review. I'll leave the installers anonymous but they did a great job. Thank you.

The coverage wasn't the greatest and it never worked when I was visiting my mom in Leduc but for $35.00/month I certainly was not going to complain. For a discount service provider they did and have continued to offer a great selection of phones. It's important to remember though with places like these since there is no contract there is no opportunity to purchase the phones for cheap and buying a phone outright can be pricey. I made the move to switch from Mobilicity to Chatr several months ago and don't regret it in the least. It is pretty much the same deal as Mobilicity with a much better service coverage area. Times have changed and alot of other providers have entered the discount cell service market yet Mobilicity refuses to evolve to stay competitive. Their service area has literally stayed the same since I purchased a phone with them two years ago. I walked past their kiosk in City Center today and had to scoff at the sign that advised customers there is a fee for paying your bill in store versus online or over the phone...an awfully cocky move in my opinion from a company that is floundering when it comes to providing good customer service in a crowded market with many other different and better choices.

For the price of a phone($500) and $42 a month, including taxes, I get UNLIMITED talk, anywhere in North America, text, with or without a picture, again anywhere in North America and data. When I am in the USofA, it only costs me 10 cents to text Canada or 20 cents a minute, to call Canada. As for roaming anywhere, get on a wifi network.... they are free and plentiful. Now there is a drawback, not that they affect myself. The company only has coverage in Edmonton. Not Sherwood Park or St. Albert or a few other towns around the city. Why pay Rogers, Telus or Bell

You go in the front door and straight up a rather steep flight of stairs, where you'll find a couple of counters and phone accessory displays. One lone guy was working that Sunday but he was happy to help. I have an iPhone 6S which is a few years old now, but they nonetheless had different colours of replacement screen in stock, and he quoted me a great price to do the replacement. Unfortunately he'd injured his wrist recently so said he'd take a little longer than normal, but I left the phone with him for an hour and went to do some shopping over on Gateway and it was all done by the time I came back. Super helpful and friendly service, good prices, and they seem to keep a good stock selection of spare screens too. He even threw in a tempered glass protector for free. Would certainly recommend this place to anyone needing replacement phone glass, and although I hope I won't need another replacement any time soon, I'll certainly go back if I do need a new screen again. Two thumbs up!

This is my third time getting fixes for my older iphone at this business…read more Several years ago, my battery needed replacing. I was nervous about not using an Apple battery but i didn't want to pay their price for an older phone. The owner is extremely fair, and polite. My battery was done in a half hour, and worked like a charm for several years. A few weeks ago, i needed another battery replacement, and the same owner had it taken care of in a half hour. Then, unfortunately, a week ago i dropped my phone, and the pixels and screen were wrecked. After researching a fair price elsewhere, i went back to fastfix and within 40 minutes i had a like new phone. Don't hesitate to get mobile repairs here! I researched going online and ordering the parts, as I can get installation done at home, but after coming to this business twice in the past, I have seen that he does the right job. I won't have to worry that something won't work after a few weeks... His prices are excellent, and his attitude seems to be that he cares a lot about doing good work. I plan on buying a newer phone at the end of the year and i won't hesitate to return to this business when i need any repairs!
