This shop is one of those rare places where you walk in and immediately feel like you've stepped into a little world of flavor, warmth, and genuine hospitality. The moment you enter, you're greeted with that bright, fragrant mix of fresh olive oils and balsamic vinegars that makes you want to taste everything. The store is beautifully organized, spotless, and full of small-batch, high‑quality oils and vinegars, if I remember correctly locally sourced. What really makes this place special is the experience. The staff is always incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and excited to guide you through tastings. They explain the layout, offer thoughtful suggestions, and help you discover combinations you never would've thought to try. It's educational without ever feeling pretentious, just fun, flavorful, and welcoming. Every visit, I end up finding a new favorite. Whether it's a bright citrus‑infused olive oil, a rich aged balsamic, or something seasonal and surprising, the quality is consistently top‑tier. Cottonwood has a gem here, and I'll keep coming back as long as they keep doing what they do best: offering incredible products with even better service.

Gathered around the Forged Charcoal Grill, sipping wine at sunset and enjoying one another's company--there is no better way to show them what they mean to you than a nice dinner. The shop was amazingly clean and offered not only Piedmontese Beef, but organic chicken, duck, and Easter Ham. My girlfriend and I went a little "nutzo koo koo" and picked up steaks, hamburgers, Bacon Fig Kabobs, hand-made sausage, and dried Morel mushrooms. There is even a great selection of seasonings and a dedicated cheese refrigerator to round out the meal. To clear up some confusion from other reviews: this is a legitimate butcher shop, not a restaurant! We watched the butcher bringing out fresh hand-cut steaks, bone-in ribeyes, and even a massive Tomahawk. They also have fresh, never-frozen prepared hamburger patties ready to go. We definitely splurged, and even though we live 2 hours away in Phoenix, the helpful store manager--a friendly Viking with an amazing red beard--gave us an ice pack to keep our provisions perfectly refrigerated for the trek home. Go ahead and brag about these cuts; they deserve every bit!

We ordered in advance a 17 lb. 7 bone prime rib for a holiday meal for 14 people. It was more than sufficient, and we sent leftovers home with folks afterward. The meat was from a special 'Piedmontese' Italian cow grass fed on a Nebraska ranch. We picked up the order right as designated, and the staff was professional and delightful. The cut of meat was absolutely beautiful and slow cooked so easily. There was a bit of unexpected fat, but nothing too out of line with quality, and it was delicious. Everyone loved it As would be expected, it was outrageously expensive but worth the quality. The value was definitely in it. Several relatives in the area didn't know this place and determined to buy meat from here now, as the supermarket quality is nowhere near what these folks provide.

Service was amazing too - attentive, friendly & joyous. Menu is innovative and while we didn't vibe with the taste of every item we tried, we enjoyed how healthy and gut friendly the food was. They say all their food is prepared in-house and is never from a can. Their dessert selection is amazing (tried the freshly baked vegan, GF scone which was soooo yum). The chocolates were good too but a tad overpriced imho. And omg, the seating in this restaurant is something else... there's PLENTY of inside and outdoor seating, incl their magical garden area.

Given that the burrito has two ingredients as of yesterday (menu says it has salsa, but upon ordering you're offered an up sell to pay extra for salsa or avocado), I was disappointed it didn't err on the side of extra chickpea chorizo. It was however seasoned incredibly well, sweet potatoes included. If you want a more quiet patio experience, then I would opt for the dog-friendly patio in the front as opposed to the one through the restaurant toward the back. There wasn't anyone there when I came at open.

My plan is to wait to eat until I got…read morehome, because (frankly), there are relatively few eateries in the area of Cornville, AZ, that I would care to spend any money at. But, as I pass by, the colorful window and LED "open" sign of Living Foods Express convinces me to turn around. Once inside the building, the minimalist decor makes me curious as to what I have actually stumbled upon. I am greeted at the front counter by Dustin, who has a friendly smile, and who laughs when I ask, "What is this place?" The short answer: a healthy fast food restaurant and snacks shop. This health oasis in the Cornville nutrition desert is located in a small shopping plaza with excellent frontage road exposure, and just enough parking space. There are two menus posted: one featuring the regular offerings, and the other boasting a few daily specials. I do not eat red meat anymore. And so, when my eyes meet the Hemp and Almond Burger (or, was it Almond and Hemp?), my mouth starts to water. "Does this have meat in it?" I ask? Dustin smiles and says, "Everything we have here is vegetarian." I'm SOLD, and place my $8 order. While I wait (about 5 minutes), I have a look around. There is some shelving with books and health snacks, a garden table with two chairs, some art hanging on the walls, and a community cork board. I spend most of my time looking at the cork board, and notice that there are business cards tacked to the board which represent a plethora of locals with niche talents. My food is ready! The see-through plastic container provides me with a glimpse of the food's colors and presentation. Again, my mouth starts to water. I thank Dustin for having opened the shop, and am already planning on eating this goodness while driving on the dirt road towards home. This particular dish begins to crumble into pieces as I attempt my first bite, but I do not mind. Eating with the fingers on my right hand, and with my left hand busy on the steering wheel, I give-up on my fork as my salad delivery system. What exactly is in the incredibly fresh-tasting and scrumptious food that I'm eating? Today, I called Dustin at the restaurant to ask. The "bun" -- Almonds, olive oil, honey, garlic, and sea salt. Combined and refined in a food processor, and dehydrated. The "patty" -- Almonds, walnuts, hemp seeds, celery, carrots, spices, and lime juice. Combined and less refined (chunkier) in a food processor. The "cheese" -- A base of macadamia nuts. The other fixins -- Romaine lettuce, Salsa, Guacamole, and Veganaisse. I am going back to Living Foods Express.
