We even gave them a second chance after a rocky start with our first project. I'll share our whole experience working with Creekside Construction, because I believe this will help paint the most complete picture. First, we had some work done on the exterior of our home. We were given a quote and thought it was reasonable, given what we needed completed. While the work was being done, our invisible dog fence was cut by the workers. When we brought it to Jason's attention, he became very defensive and referenced "per the contract" (that was never provided) that this was not his obligation to pay. So, we ended up paying an additional $200 to repair our underground dog fence that HIS guys cut. Jason's workers continued to complete our project after this occurred. The majority of the project was completed in a reasonable timeframe. However, there was a large area that was left unfinished and clearly visible. They did come to complete the job when we asked, but this is not something that should have been overlooked--especially when this was the second mishap that occurred for this project. However, we decided to give Jason and Creekside Construction a second chance and we hired his team a second time to redo a shower in our master bathroom. I was having major surgery a few weeks after our initial request and we asked that the shower either be completed in its entirety before my surgery OR that we were happy to wait until after I had fully healed (so we didn't have people coming in and out of our home during the recovery) and we were told that the shower would be able to be completed before the surgery took place. We were given a quote (again NO contract) and decided to move forward. The shower itself was completed to a usable status prior to my surgery, however, it was not completed in its entirety, because the door was not installed (this came weeks later). This wasn't even the most frustrating part. After the shower was fully completed, we received an invoice for a final bill. We had already paid a significant portion of the bill early on, yet this final bill was MORE than what the original quote even was!! We understand that things can change slightly, but the total cost of this project was now several thousands of dollars more than what the original quote was. Here's where the worst part comes in... My husband called Jason's wife, Corrie, to ask about the bill and to get clarification on the discrepancy. It took over a week and a half to even receive the information. This then resulted in an extremely unprofessional discussion, where Jason jumped on the call between Corrie and my husband. Jason cussed at my husband several times, accused us of stealing, insulted my husband's intelligence, threatened to put a lien on our home and take us to court multiple times, AS WELL AS threatened to reach out to past clients of his (who are also very close family friends of ours) and "tell them how we treat people." That was the final straw for me. I don't know what past clients have ANYTHING to do with our work and relationship with this company. If you can even call it a company. The workers and outside contractors hired by Creekside Construction were outstanding. However, Jason and Corrie were the most unprofessional and disrespectful people we have ever worked with. I don't ever write reviews, but I could not stand by and let this dishonest company continue to take advantage of more families. I would NEVER recommend any household or family to work with Creekside Construction for any project, regardless of size.

I reached out and gathered estimates from more than 15 places in the area. Every other contractor didn't seem to grasp the complexities of the work I was trying to get quoted, but I could tell James completely understood and listened to me. His price was also very fair.
