It's in a very busy tourist area, and a lot of people were out and about late at night, so I felt very safe walking around here. Service is AMAZING. They let me in free of charge, telling me there was no cover charge tonight. The bartender was so sweet to me, she got me a glass of Green Fairy absinthe, and let me take a photo of the bottle. A guy approached me and asked me if he could get me a drink, which was very nice of him. He first asked in German, and when I told him I speak English, he switched to English. I politely declined, telling him I already had a drink. I had SO MUCH fun dancing too goth music (quite a handful of VNV), and especially enjoyed a remix of The Cure's "Love Song," a remix of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence," and a remix of NIN's "Head Like a Whole." Danced my way to my Fitbit calorie goal of 2100 before I headed back to my hotel room to rest up for another day of exploring Vienna!

I was supposed to play there and knowing that so called 'clubs' like this sh*thole claims to be, don't give a f*ck about their equipment or the djs that are stupid enough to play there, which unfortunately includes me, I went there the afternoon before the party to check if the dj equipment was ready. Of course I have been told "yes, everything is working 100%." "Luckily" two hours before my playtime, my fellow dj-colleague called me and told me that they just started to play and noticed that one turntable didn't operate properly. Turns out the guy that thinks he is the sound engineer for this sh*hole didn't even check the equipment, which is the least thing to be expected for a venue. So I recommend going to other clubs like Werk, Venster, Dual, Grelle Forelle or basically any other venue that tries to deliver a certain quality for their guests. This is unacceptable in so many levels.

My TripAdvisor profile says that I like to "do what the locals do" and this is where the locals took me. From the outside you may ask yourself what the hell is going on, it looks like a subway entrance stood guarded by bouncers checking to make sure that you meet the clubs dress expectations. What you find when you finally get downstairs is absolutely nothing like you could possibly expect from it's outward appearance, yet it is absolutely everything you would expect from a hot Euro nightclub. Sleek and modern, awesome dance music seamlessly mixed by skilled DJs, hot club goers in the trendiest of attire, this place has got it all going on. Pricey cocktails for sure, but if you're on vacation or just splurging on a big night out, it's not that much more expensive than Philly or NYC. I actually met more Americans at the club that night than I did locals, and that's ok, it made for an easier bathroom break experience and was a good chance to see what other visitors were checking out in Vienna. If you're from the big cities in the states where smoking indoors is no longer permitted, be prepared for a bathroom full of smoke especially in the winter, no one wants to go out in the frigid night air to get their fix. All in all, definitely a must-visit if you're looking to get a feel for Vienna nightlife. Being underground, clearly with no windows, this is the kind of place that you will enter when it's dark and re-emerge in the daylight of the morning after.

The drinks were not cheap but worth it. There is a Frank stand outside that sells really good food for after you have been drinking at 4 am and I recommend the Cheese filled Sausage:) So put on your blazer and other dress to impress clothes and dance the night away at this literally Underground Disco!
