They tried to scam my friend out of $250. There were less than 50 people in the club the whole night. Every worker is a dick. Don't go here if you like having fun and not getting scammed out of money.

They will claim you purchased things that you did not and then threaten to call the police on you if you do not pay. They pray on foreign people and use huge bouncers to intimidate them into submission. I went here with a large group of people, and when I tried to leave they claimed I bought a huge bottle of vodka (I did not purchase anything while I was there) and told me I needed to pay over 70 euros. When I told them they would need to supply proof that this happened, they brought over several large bouncers to intimidate me. This place is terrible. Don't go here.

But in general, the bar is fun to hang about, to watch the people and its interior is truly unique in the bar scene. Its easy to get in touch with others, also on an only chatty base. When we arrived the DJ wasn't spinning yet, but the Elvis Presley poster on the wall offered a bit of foreshadowing. Once the DJ started up, he played a lot of oldies that were fun to dance to and got everyone up out of their seats ("ABC", "Hit the Road Jack", "These Boots are Made for Walking" ...you get the idea). It's in a very busy tourist area, and a lot of people were out and about late at night, so I felt very safe walking around here. Service is AMAZING. They let me in free of charge, telling me there was no cover charge tonight. The bartender was so sweet to me, she got me a glass of Green Fairy absinthe, and let me take a photo of the bottle. A guy approached me and asked me if he could get me a drink, which was very nice of him. He first asked in German, and when I told him I speak English, he switched to English. I politely declined, telling him I already had a drink. I had SO MUCH fun dancing too goth music (quite a handful of VNV), and especially enjoyed a remix of The Cure's "Love Song," a remix of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence," and a remix of NIN's "Head Like a Whole." Danced my way to my Fitbit calorie goal of 2100 before I headed back to my hotel room to rest up for another day of exploring Vienna!
