Updated...all concerns have been addressed. Thanks!…read more Hired Green Grove Landscaping last fall for the front and back yard of our new house. Initially we were very pleased. This spring we found that several trees and other plants didn't survive the winter - these should be garuteened for a year and replaced. We turned on our sprinklers and found that one station won't turn off once you turn it on and another station has gushing water. So we are having to water everything manually. We used their recommended fence company. When building the fence the slope of our driveway was not taken into consideration and the gate has now pulled away from the support post. We have been trying for more than a month to get these issues resolved and have been put off again and again when we do get a response. Doesn't appear they are willing to honor their work.

The only honest thing that came out of Adam's (The owner) mouth was when he told me most of his…read moregood reviews were written by friends and family. He gave a bid then I waited 9 weeks for him to tell me his employees weren't showing up for work so he couldn't do the job. He came to my door to threaten me for coming to the address listed as his place of business (his home). I hoped to report him to the BBB but they have no record of a company called "Green Grove Landscaping". Not especially surprising since he told me he's not licensed or insured. He has no integrity and I'm glad he didn't scam me out of any money.

RJ Concrete Solutions - What 3.5 months of working with Ryan produced :(

Disappointed. They tried to squeeze me in between some other clients, which I appreciated. But…read morebecause I didn't have a real date, I got work done in pieces here and there. And the work they did wasn't good in most places. I have big chips in the cement already. The never returned my emails or calls to come fix it. I think they are out of business now. Either that or they are really good at avoiding me.

**WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED**…read more SHORT VERSION: AFTER 3.5 MONTHS, WE STILL DO NOT HAVE CONCRETE IN OUR BACKYARD. Ryan only showed up 22% of the time (4/18 times). Gave us a wide variety of excuses. *REFUSES TO REIMBURSE ME THE $5,787 DEPOSIT I PAID HIM (minus labor & materials). Poor communication and highly unprofessional. Zero sympathy for his customers. LONG VERSION: We hired Ryan to lay a concrete pad in our backyard in early May 2021. Between May 11 and Aug 26, Ryan committed to coming over to our home 18 DIFFERENT TIMES and ONLY SHOWED UP 4 TIMES (22%) to do actual labor (June 11, 17, 21, & 22). In other words, HE DIDN'T SHOW UP 78% OF THE TIME. The 14 other times he didn't show up were met with excuses (e.g. "I need an admin day", "family issue came up", "lent equipment to a friend and haven't gotten it back". He also had a head injury/concussion and sent us a photo, and it rained twice). During 3.5 months, he only managed to clear the ground with a Mini excavator, put up the wood frame, dig 3 trenches for drainage spouts (he also dug another sprinkler trench to re-set and a hole for our trampoline). We had to follow up with him every week and ask "What's the plan? When can you come over?". It felt like I was nagging my brother-in-law to do us a favor. I sent Ryan a Notice of Cancelation on Aug 26 and politely asked him to send us an itemized invoice with all of the labor & materials he had provided and reimburse us the remaining amount from the $5,787 deposit we had paid him. He refused to pay us back and even told my wife to "shut up" in a group text....HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL & DISRESPECTFUL! I also saw him once peeing out in our street during the daytime (yikes). At the end of the day, Ryan didn't have the resources to get our project done in a timely manner and he expected us to be ok with it. WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE IN MY SHOES?
