The receptionist was so Informative. Two Days BEFORE the event Natalie called to confirm my reservation then confirmed EVERY stop on the itinerary. There would be zero changes allowed after noon on the day before and the passengers were NOT allowed to change the scheduled stops on the trip. I did not understand at first then she explained this is procedure for a prom trip due to alcohol stops requested, etc. Not even a bathroom stop would be allowed. We have great girls so I didnt even consider this. I told Natalie ahe was a better concerned parent than I!!! We were assigned the awesome Bernard as their driver! He was on time AND amazing. We did the pre-trip parent paperwork to confirm back up cell phones and trip plan and all safety elements. AGAIN awesome...made me so calm as a parent of hIgh schoolers! Bernard called us to confirm details after the prom while the girls were at Bubble Tea (suggested by Natalie..great post prom idea...thx!!!) So don't have a heart attack when the driver calls you after midnight...he is just cautious and confirming drop off plans. I will definitely use Blue Diamond again...could not be happier with their communication, efficiency, safety and Bernard's smiling customer service!!!

Thanks to the yelpers, I found Motor City Limo and called them 3 months prior to the trip to book the transfer to/ from the airport / hotel. A few days prior to the trip I get a confirmation email, and then on the day of the trip I get an email reminding me of my pick up. The only down part is, if you don't have access to email, you would not get this reminder. As I landed I got an email telling me my driver was on the way and a photo of Anton. Then I got a text message telling me he's at the Coffee Bean with an iPad sign. Total communication .. love it! He was so easy to find, and we had no communication problem. Anton was a great driver and guide. Our SUV was warm and he even gave us bottled water to sip on. Chatty but not overly chatty, and gave us tips on what to do in Detroit. I asked Motor City to allow me to tip the driver with cash, and I gave Anton a very generous tip for a job well done. On the day of our return we had "GG" and she was excellent as well. Bright and early at 7 am on as Sunday, she was chipper and friendly. She grew up in Detroit and told us how things have changed in the new Detroit revival. Just like our arrival, Motor City gave me plenty of confirmations and notifications, so I did not stress if my reservation would be there or not. The name on the bus did not match the company I booked with so I looked up the name from the bus and that company charged significantly less to book their bus than what I paid. I have tried to contact Novi Limos twice to get a refund on the difference and am not getting any response back. This was for my husband's 40th birthday that I planned for months.
