Jose offered us cold water and even accommodated a quick detour to Starbucks for much-needed coffee (we took a redeye into Cancun). Jose was very friendly, helpful, and informative, and we chatted the entire 2-hour car ride. He saved us a trip into town by taking us to an exchange house "Casa de Cambio" (we needed pesos) and gave us a quick tour of the best places to eat in downtown Tulum. Jose is very knowledgeable of the entire Quintana Roo/Yucatan region and can take you anywhere you need. We also used TLS on our return trip to the airport. Jose arrived early and had cold bottles of water ready for the car ride. When we return to Tulum, Jose will be the first person we contact for all our transportation needs. Jose provides a high-quality experience and we found his prices to be very reasonable (we have paid much more for private transportation from Cancun to Tulum and vice versa in the past).

When you book your flight that there can be rush hour traffic in the hotel zone. The bridge opening could help with the traffic. The AC was running and was great to have on full blast from the heat. They even sent a VIP van to our hotel because they said they were in the area so not garuntee for that type of car but was a great surprise. For pick up at the airport they were a little hidden and at the back of all the pick up transfers so had to do a little bit of looking. Used the WhatsApp concierge to try and find them but didn't need it in the long run.

They even claimed that no manager was available, which is both inexcusable and highly questionable during peak season. This was an overpriced, inflexible, and poorly managed service that added stress to an already difficult travel situation.
