I came here and had a manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was great but during the manicure my fingers were cut multiple times with the nail file. I originally thought maybe she's new and it's not always like this so I reported it over the phone after I paid and left because I had a full day and somewhere else to go. After talking with the man at the desk he said that the woman claimed she cut me less times than I claimed she did and that it was only because it was a new nail file so he only gave me a $10 refund I don't think think there is ever a reason to justify cutting your customer. I got no apology and a small refund for this which leads me to believe they think this type of treatment is okay. UPDATE: after posting this review they called me and asked if I would take this review down for an additional $10 and asked if I was unhappy with the cuts. I said I wanted a full refund and they told me the most they could do was an additional $20 ($30 total) and gave me an additional $20 back. read more

I moved here a couple of months ago and I didn't want to keep making a 30 minute drive just to get my nails done, so I've been trying out different nails salon over the last 6 months. This is my third time coming, and Jane and Natalie do NOT disappoint! They are truly the best! What I love about Jane is that she is talented AND a perfectionist. This is the first time getting more than simple set, but I'm truly amazed by Jane!! Natalie is my absolute go-to girl for my pedicures. I personally love getting my ingrown skin taken out, and she gets it all out without bleeding. Also, a part of big toe nail broke but she somehow fixed it and it looks and feels like it was never broken-- you would truly never know. Also, her application of nail polish is perfect. This nail salon is amazing and all the ladies here are the sweetest. Jane is the best! She is so meticulous and always makes sure everything is perfect. I had a horrible experience at a different nail salon and Jane ended up fixing my nails for me and now she's the only one I trust. She's always up for any trend or design and is so nice. Even better is they take Venmo, which is such a plus since I never carry cash. They also almost always hand out Fiji water while getting your nails done. If you are in need of a good salon this one is amazing and Starbucks is right across the street. Katie does a really good job and is always very detail oriented and thorough with her manicures and whenever she does my nails, they always seem to last longer. If today was my first time here, I'd never return. This was quite possibly the worst service. My nails look decent after asking Kayla to get the color off my skin after proclaiming she was done. Have been a few times and I had previously had good experiences, but this last time wasn't so great so I won't be coming back unfortunately. It was a weekend so I know they are busy and they prefer appointments but as a mom of a very needy toddler it is so hard for me to plan a day/time to come, it's always a last minute like twice a year treat for myself. I wanted the upgraded pedicure (exfoliating, mask, extra massage, etc) since I only get one very 6 months. There was a wait which I was fine with and understood. Once I was seated they didn't ask what type of pedicure I wanted so I asked if I could see the sheet, because I wanted the one with the extras. They told me they didn't have time to do anything other than a basic pedicure. It felt rushed, subpar, and not relaxing. Not once, but twice I called in advance for pricing so that I could drop my daughter and her friends off and EACH time the girls ended up paying higher than quoted pricing and were completely taken advantage of. I am taking in consideration of gel, etc.. but honestly, $70 for a full set!? When my daughter asked for an itemized receipt, they gave her a receipt that said "manicure" and rushed her out and would not disclose a proper breakdown. They also demanded cash only. I am so incredibly upset and disappointed with VIP nails. They have really gone down hill since they opened their second store in RSM. Made even worse by the pandemic when many of the girls that were great, left. I keep going back and forth between locations hoping to finally find a good nail tech, but no. This time, Laura spilt nail polish all over my diamond ring & finger and LAUGHED and said "oh sorry" and continued to remove the excess nail polish on my fingers. Are you kidding me?! I had to tell her to stop and clean off my ring immediately. My ring is now permanently stained even after having to bring it to my jeweler and they actually have to send it out to get cleaned and my diamond might have to be replaced. Unacceptable. I have been here more than a few times. It became my regular place to get my nails done. Jessy is amazing; very friendly and listens to what I wanted done, not to mention does a great job. I would give her alone a five star review. However, yesterday I went in and Jessy was not working, so I got a new technician. I had never even seen this girl in the salon before. I wanted to take off my gel and have a regular French manicure with a line of black under the white. I asked her for rounded nails but she insisted on squared. I kept saying round and I ended up with squared. Then she kept pushing the gel. Once I finalized that I did not want gel, she got an attitude. She started pulling and pushing my arm, twisting my wrist roughly when needing my thumb, and painted my nails quicker than I could of imagined. It seemed as though she no lingered cared about her work because I was not getting the more expensive type of manicure, which is her loss because I usually tip $20. She got $5, and that's because of my conscious obligation to tip. She deserved nothing for the attitude, poor customer service skills, and terrible job. I've loved coming here, but after this experience it's made it hard to want to go back. I will only let Jessy touch my nails if I do return. read more

Honestly if I could give this place less than one star I would. I have been getting my nails done often with acrylics ever since I was 19 years old. I've always had issues with my nails breaking every so often, as in MAYBE 1 or 2 nails breaking out of a month time span (and they normally break around the three week mark). Never in my life have they ever chipped the way they have. The girl who did my nails clearly did not know what she was doing and on top of that I paid $76!!!! First nail broke 1 DAY after I got them done... it has been 6 days and EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. has broke. I will never get acrylics here again. Pedis are okay but I find it ridiculous to go to two separate places just so I can have a decent service. Also to top it all off I called them to ask them to fix it (called the very next day) and the woman on the phone was so rude and told me it would $5 PER nail to fix!!! Like seriously?! I went in today for a full set. I am visiting family and decided to get my nails done here. I have not been here in years but decided to come back. I had Van Q, the bigger man, do my nails. He not only rushed through and did a bad job but was snarky the entire time. When it was time to pay and tip I paid with Apple Pay but for the tip my Venmo wasn't working so I said I could go to the car to get cash or take a photo of his Venmo and have my mom said a Venmo tip when I got home. He then proceeded to say "last time you left and no tip so what" and gave me an insane look. Let's get this clear I have never been to this place and not tipped and havnt been here in years so he's got the wrong person.
