I just want to preface this review by saying that if I could give zero stars, I would.
Approximately a week ago, I came into this store looking to buy one of these CDs for my autistic daughter. Now, I don't claim to be a K-Pop expert nor do I consider myself a part of their target audience. However, I wanted to do something nice for my daughter due to school finally being out for summer. She really struggles with large groups of people as well as public spaces, so I went into the store alone.
As soon as I entered, I immediately felt judged. All of the employees were staring at me and following my every move throughout the store. The store isn't very large, and I was the only customer there, so let's just say it's extremely obvious that all of the employees had their eyes trained on me. I was followed, watched, and treated like a criminal for simply trying to buy my daughter a gift.
At one point during my visit, the employee with the ponytail, glasses, and dark hair walked over to a coworker and whispered into her ear while staring directly at me. After she whispered, they both audibly laughed. I was humiliated. I felt completely ridiculed by this employee, who had treated me like a criminal and now had the audacity to make fun of me while I was within eyesight?
I felt so overwhelmed with the entire situation I felt like crying. It was like being back in high school again with the gossiping and judging my every move. I have never felt so disrespected as a customer in my life.
Save your time and go to one of the other K-pop stores in the area, the extra drive time is worth it to avoid these extremely rude employees. read more
