Do NOT waste your money. This was the worst business decision I made last year. I was selling high-quality, handmade wreaths. The Sugar Land manager, Layla Bennett, damaged one of my products and then refused to take responsibility. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, she denied what happened. I was forced to send 10 emails to her supervisor before they finally admitted I was right. Even then, they only refunded 50% of the damage. After standing up for myself, I was retaliated against. The supervisor, Ramona Ventura, gave me only two days to vacate my booth simply because I demanded accountability. They do not care whether you succeed. They do not promote your products. Their only concern is collecting their monthly rent. Whether you sell or not, you are locked into a one-year contract and must pay. Vendors beware. read more

My husband and I (both seniors) went to the Painted Tree store at Westheimer St., Houston, TX at 6:00pm today (Oct.13) to check out a space so we can finalize our application to be one of the vendors. We were confronted by the rudest store clerks that we ever had the misfortune to meet. While I was shopping, my husband asked if he can use their restroom but instead of being shown some courtesy -- he was turned away with a dismissive tone "it's for vendors only." True or not, my husband appealed but was treated harshly and ignored. The two clerks on duty were just busy chitchatting at the counter.i don't think we will ever go back to this place, finalize our contract, much more trust them to take care of our business . Horrible experience! Very RUDE! My advice would be to stay out of this store! A young guy over charged me triple! The biggest thing he was very rude wouldn't give his name and says... I don't have a name tag I said I can see that.. still wouldn't give me his name.. I ended up getting the name from someone else! His name was Michael! He looked high as a kite! then when I asked for a refund he said you will have to wait and Patience is key!! Then another lady says people make mistakes.. I said that's not the problem it's being rude! Call the manager he was just as bad! I had to call my bank and file a claim! A friend of mine later told me this place does not do refunds even with a receipt. Never step foot in this rude establishment again... Manager wouldn't do a thing!! read more

Horrible customer service. My family Was harassed by employees (Pam and Jordan, Jordan's grown father and her mother, who came to the store to follow us around, verbally attack my daughter and family and Harass us). This all stemmed from an outside issue. I shop at this store two or three times weekly and asked to speak to manager and Pam told me that they didn't pull camera footage and that the manager Susan is part time and wasn't able to contact her or give me a way to contact her. I will never recommend this store to anyone or step foot in this store EVERY AGAIN! Such a disappointment that even an employee's dad is able to approach my young daughter and say she is 18 I can say whatever to her and harass her with no consequences, we felt in fear for our safety! VENDORS BEWARE: BAIT AND SWITCH PRACTICES WITH DISHONESTY We signed up for the Kingwood Texas Store as it was opening. We contracted a 3 x 5 Space (footprint) in the middle of an aisle for $125 per month. It was an attractive location, and we were excited about the opportunity. We had purchased materials and prepared a display for this space and were preparing to move into the facility when they contacted us and told us that our space was no longer available to us. At first they stated that it was because of the final construction not matching the original design, and therefore there was less space. Later, they stated that it was really because they had to provide spaces to their high-priority vendors (Vendors who were in at least three of their other locations). Later, they further stated that we were bumped because we had purchased the space later than others. They offered an alternative space, far in the rear of the building. This space measured 3' x 1.25' (footprint). Initially, they told us that this space would also be for $125 per month. We protested, arguing that we had originally purchased 15 ft.² of space and we're now being offered 3.75 ft.² of space for the same price! A fair price, we said, based on the same rate per square foot would be $33 per month. They responded by saying the lowest they would sell us this space was $75 per month. So, we were the victims of a bait and switch, a series of dishonest statements trying to cover up their errors, and a ridiculous and unfair offer for a less than desirable space then we had contracted for. My mom and I went just to see what it was about and OH MY GOSH! It was waaaayyyy more than I ever expected. Make sure you go into this store with the open mind that you will be spending more than you wanted too!! But everything is so cute and trendy! It is the best new shop in kingwood! It will be a great place to come back and shop for Christmas presents! And unique ones too! I loved every little shop I stepped into! Did I spend more money than I needed too? Yes!! But do I love everything I got ? Yes!! Totally recommend! read more

If you're looking for clothing from China that is available online for much cheaper this is the place. Rows and rows of the same clothes, jewelry , soaps etc. and no home decor. As far as I'm concerned just people hustling things they get online . The idea of making your dream as a seller is not in this place. And the cashier was rude.... read more

Attempted to return a shirt, albeit outside the 48 hr window (which is absurd anyway), however the shirt fell apart after the first wash. The vendor refused a refund and didn't offer an exchange. Painted Tree refused to tell me which vendor so that I may speak with them directly. The vendor stated they were refusing the refund since the shirt "wasn't in the condition in which it was purchased". Ummmm.... right... it fell apart at the first wash - that's why I'm returning it. So Painted Tree nor the vendor will stand behind their products? Not too smart... I've shopped there regularly since they've opened and they've now lost my business over a $24 shirt. read more

What a great store for shopping! It's a store filled with shops by small and local businesses. I bought some cute outfits, hand made soap, gourmet rice crispie treats, hand made earrings and an embroidery kit. I think it's such a great place to find gifts too including ones for people who are hard to shop for. It's a large place, like a small shopping mall and the staff are so nice. I will definitely come back and shop some more!!! read more

My mom, my daughter and I went in for the first time today and we were so amazed by all the nice and unique things they have! The environment was also great from the musician at the door to the complimentary snacks! It was a very welcoming and peaceful environment. We will definitely be returning to do some Christmas shopping. So happy we found a place like this so close to home. read more

Vendors accuse you of stealing and have the store call the cops to question you in the back room. Vendors continue to call you a thief when it's determined all products are there. No apology given. Don't go there. Not worth the risk to be called by the cops for shopping. read more
