Still waiting for Viola roofing and contacting to fix two roof leaks damaging the inside of my home. Plaster damage inside. Scared NEW gutters. Damaged NEW shingles. My lawn was a mess when they left. I had to re-finance to fund the project The job cost me cost me 24,900.00. Update, 11/30/2022. There is a severe wind and rain warning in my region. Viola Roofing and contracting has been aware of the fact my roof has several leaks and continued plaster deterioration. I had two roof jobs done in the same year (two different houses). Viola did one of them. For about the same sized roof, they were about 2/3 the cost of the other roof. I don't normally go with the cheaper contractor but Viola came recommended. They did a great job. And I accidentally overpaid them by several thousand dollars and they refunded me promptly. So far the house has gone through one decent rainstorm with no leaks, so I think it was a decent job. I would use them again. read more

I had asked for a quote for about $40k in work. Mike rushed through the property without even giving me a chance to thoroughly explain what I wanted done. He didn't take any notes and barely snapped any pictures. He said he would email me a quote, which I never received. He walked my property for maybe 10 minutes total and left. The entire interaction was very awkward, rushed, and unprofessional. If he wasn't interested in the work, he should've stated that in the beginning instead of wasting my time. I lost a good amount of shingles, trims and about 80 sq. ft. of soffit under the porch roof in the March storm.I got in touch with Mike and he put together a quote for a temporary repair on the largest areas where it was just exposed roof deck and a quote for whole roof replacement which I considered a fair deal.Mid-week his men came out and patched the roof and the whole crew came back in April to replace.They finished it all the work in a day and left the yard cleaner than it was before they arrived.I ran into the crew that day briefly and the were very polite and professional. This crew of six (yes, six!) men just completed a roof replacement on my 2,500 square foot colonial home with a 3 car garage in literally 12 hours, (most of one day and a few hours the following morning)! I have never seen anything like it, this is a well oiled machine. These guys even cleaned up very well! The roof looks spectacular and makes the house look brand new! I received at least four quotes for my roof replacement and spent a good amount of time researching the right company to choose. I can confidentially say that I made the right choice. The price was fair and completely in line with other bids. The quote was the exact same number that I paid in the end which was a relief. A roof is big investment for a lot of people but it will last 20-30 years with the right shingles and installation. I have literally zero complaints about this company and crew and I know they would come back in a heartbeat if I had any issues at all. Helpful tips... I chose to work from home during the two days of the roof replacement because I did not want the dog to go crazy in his crate all day from the noise. The dog slept through the noise but if you have the option, I strongly suggest that you leave your home. It's a very loud process and you might start to think that the guys are going to come crashing through the roof so no need to worry! It is important to remove all the items on the walls so don't forget to do this! Also, I was worried that the ceiling fixtures might come crashing down but they did not! PHEW! These guys are extremely professional, serious about customer service and do great quality work. I had them redo the entire exterior of my home; strip the roof and siding down the bare sheathing, new roof, new siding, new gutters and repair all the fascia. They stripped 3 layers of old roof off and replaced it then stripped half the siding off the house in the first DAY they were there. Everyone in the neighborhood was asking who these guys were and what their phone number was they were so impressed. There were a couple little things here and there that needed to be tweaked and cleaned up since it was such a big job and so much was changed. Every time I reached out to them I got a response back in less than 12 hours and someone was there fixing it within a day or two. They're incredibly courteous, polite and value their customers. Very happy with Viola's performance all around. Easy to work with, professional and responsive, and great workmanship. I'm writing this review a number of months after Viola replaced my roof, and I have absolutely no complaints. Mike provided an estimate that was below every other quote I received to strip two layers of old roof on my house, one layer of roof on my detached garage, replace rotted boards, install ice shield and architectural shingles. The final product looks great, and the crew was attentive to details like flashing around the chimneys. The crew worked extremely quickly and cleanly, completing the whole project in less than 2 days. They filled up their dumpster and didn't have room for an old basketball hoop that was attached to my garage roof, but they came back the next day and took it away. A+ read more

ok, we had a roof leak. 2 people came out and were paid to fix it but it was never fixed. called mike and 2 other people for estimates. both other people wanted to replace the entire section and further of roof because they said there was no way to find the leak. this was going to cost about $4,000. mike viola came out and said oh, he thought he knew right where the leak was and he would put a rush on it. i thought, well we will try it and who knows what will happen. to our pleasant surprise, mike had the leak completely fixed for a few hundred dollars right away and on the first attempt. this is a smart, nice, HONEST, contractor and we are so appreciative of what he did for us! read more
