I've tasted the Italian classic and the Pepperoni. Both were awesome. Happy to have an authentic Italian restaurant in the area. Can't wait to try the pasta! read more

My family and I had dinner last night and it was amazing. The staff is friendly, comfortable setting, and food was amazing. Vinzo's is our new favorite Italian restaurant. read more

The food was cold & the eggplant had the skin on it yuck tossed it in the garbage. Don't waist your time or money read more

Probably my favorite Italian restaurant in town. Food is always fresh and delicious. Prices are reasonable

Wow, Vinzo's really lives up to its amazing reputation. We've gotten takeout twice from Vinzo's during this stay-at-home lockdown and both times we were just thrilled. The first meal was chicken parm, eggplant parm and pasta carbonara. All three were just incredible and came with a huge side portion of pasta with a sauce that's so incredibly addictive. This weekend, we got two pizzas - a plain cheese and a "deluxe." My fiancee is from NYC and said this is as good as anything she's had. The staff there is so nice and the food was packaged perfectly and came home piping hot. Vinzo's could very well become our Friday night dining tradition. read more

Favorite pizza in casselberry!! Restaurant is cozy and cute and makes for a good date night as well.

this is going to be a tough review. my son is a chef in a family owned italian restaurant in Terre Verde Fl. he has been taught by the owner who is direct from Napoli, thus my problem. my son is good, and this where i get in trouble. Vinzos ties him in quality, size and taste of everything we have eaten there.from eggplant to shrimp, meatballs, sausage and pizza. i find no fault in anything we have tried. an to use a phrase, ATSA Cannoli. the desserts are to die for. Kellan always has a kind word for us and we will keep coming back. favor to ask, please don't tell my son. Norm R read more

Roberta was amazing she made my experience, i hope u any more people like here, she makes this place!

The baked ziti was so good. The bread was yummylicious! And the house salad dressing was out of this world.

I enjoy the food and have been there many times. Unfortunately, we went to the restaurant recently and requested to be seated at one of the many available tables as it is not comfortable for one of the people that was with us to sit at a booth. We were refused as apparently its policy to seat people at the booths first. Therefore, we had to leave and you lost 4 patrons. Note, I'd give you 4 to 5 stars for food, but 1 star for unwillingness to seat our party at a table. read more

Ok well I ordered delivery from here yesterday night and had high hopes. Now overall rating is a 3 because of my experience with the food and taste. Let's start with the pros. The delivery fee was very well priced (which was great bc I felt lazy even though I could literally walk there) the food was hot when it got to the house, order was correct, and prompt timing. So, with all that being said I was somewhat disappointed in the food and lack of flavor. For the price I will agree because I can see that real and fresh ingredients are used from what I could tell. My husband got a calzone meat lovers and I got a chicken pasta dish.I do not remember the name. His calzone was very salty he said so he wasn't super thrilled. He normally loves calzones and we had another local place and he did not mention at all that it was to salty there. I wasn't as disappointed with the calzone as I was my pasta dish. It was a beautiful presentation but extremely bland in flavor. I don't want an over salted dish of coursebut this had none. The cream sauce just wasn't impressive, then the chicken. Not much season there as well. Now I did see and taste some fresh garlic in the dish but because there was lack of other seasoning that was all I tasted. The artichoke in the dish was great and like I said presentation was nice. In honest opinion they over did how much pasta was used in the dish. So the garlic knots were good, not mind blowing but good. The issue with those is I had a bristle from the brush probably used to butter them . I took a picture but will not post as to not want to bash the establishment forprobably an honest accident. Overall I would rate 3.5 stars if I could sadly. Mostly on the premise that the food taste was not what was expected from the great reviews. There's a possibility I will try one more dish in the future but we shall see. read more

Vinzo's - Pizza Near Me - Casselberry, Florida

See all

Pizza is excellent. Just like the pizza I've had in Italy! Nice layout inside and clean. Staff is friendly.

Took my wife there for our 22nd anniversary and was treated wonderfully. I ordered the Lasagna and my wife had the seafood pasta and both were way too much to finish. That was great for our adult kids since they can't seem to buy their own food these days. Super friendly wait staff and really good food. read more

Came in on Friday about 25 min before closing time. I was hesitant about what they were gonna say but gave it a shot. Walked in, the server asked if we were dining in or take out. I said dining in. She gave the look of crap last minute customers, turned around and asked the owner. The owner or whoever she was said last call was at 9:30pm. Now if that's true, and there is NO sign or small talk posted anywhere, that's bad business practice. I know 25 min before closing time was cutting it but it's 25 minutes. I can see coming in 5 minutes before closing time. read more

I discovered this gem of a restaurant through Groupon. I would definitely recommend it! The Burata appetizer was delish! The shrimp in the pasta dishes were cooked to perfection. The garlic knots were dripping with butter and cheese....yum! It is tucked in the corner of a strip mall that is going through a renovation and hard to see, especially with the new overpass, but well worth the hunt! Ask for Dan - a young handsome version of Mario! read more

So tonight I decided to try a new pizza place. I normally go a much much much better place than this. Advertising a brick oven pizza I expected a hot crispy pizza. Instead we received a warm not hot doughy, chewy pizza. We love crust and couldn't even eat it. Needless to say I could go on about how terrible it was but I'll say this STAY CLEAR AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AS I HAVE!!!! If you want pizza do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!!! read more

Was in Orlando for the weekend from Miami and a good friend recommended Vinzo's. So glad I took her advice! The Calamari e Pepe was the best I've ever had. Loved the place - real authentic food and great service. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town! read more

We always order pizza and wings and they are delicious. Service has always been great. This family owned restaurant in Casselberry is a must place to visit. read more

I normally just get pizza and wings but I finally tried the chicken parmigiana...small side salad and garlic knots came with and it was all really tasty. Hit the spot. I always have friendly service when picking up. Dined in with the family once, we had a great server. Owner seems to be genuinely interested in our opinion and checked in often to see if we needed anything. read more

This place is awesome. I have to say we were skeptical, but dang were we wrong. Had the Calmari appetizer, fantastic, then the Chicken Parm, again, we'll made, very tasty, and the Coup De Grace, was the Salmon Valentino, this dish is over the top delicious. Thus place is a must try for Italian... read more

This place is great. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. The food is awesome, their subs are amazing. The chicken quinoa soup is something you must try, they make it fresh right at the restaurant. This is one of our favorite "local" places to eat! read more

Spectacular food. I had the chicken Calabrese tender and flavorful, Cesar salad crisp and dressing on the side was thoughtful for a to go order. Boyfriend had cheese calzone which is his favorite he stated it was better than Melo Mushroom! read more

We always heard great things about this place and finally decided to stop by a few days ago. It's a nice little restaurant, clean and quiet. The food was excellent, we had bruschetta as an appetizer, very good with fresh ingredients. The pizza was also very good but we only had a pepperoni. The staff was also very friendly and service was quick. Will certainly go back again and highly recommend this place if you want a good meal. read more

Over priced for a local Italian eatery. Almost $10 for two paper thin slices of pizza w olives / mushrooms for lunch and a Dr Pepper is ridiculous. No salad just two thin slices and a drink. Very poor value and over priced based on my experience. read more

My husband and I visited Vinzo's last night for the first time. The bisque was very good. Bruschetta was good, served on warm, toasty bread topped with grated cheese and served with a generous portion of marinara sauce (not needed). But I missed the basil in it. We shared an order of shrimp calabresse which came with a salad and garlic knots. Really good and enough that we brought a generous portion home (even better today). House red wine is one of my favoritesIt's a tastefully decorated, warm and inviting restaurant. We'll definitely go back. read more

My husband and I have been looking for a good place to get good Italian food since moving to florida almost 2 years ago. The food was really good. My husband had the lasagna. I am really picky about my chicken parmigiana but I have to say this is the best I've have had by far. I guess we've found our Italian spot. read more

By far the worst service in town. We were told that there was going to be a 20 minute wait because there wasn't enough servers. The place only has 20 tables how can 3 servers not be enough especially when you're not full. Not to mention that the food was less than average. it was definitely not worth the price or wait. It reminded me of the Italian section at Golden Corral. So if you stop by another Italian place and they tell you the wait is 30 minutes stay there, because this place is a huge disappointment. read more

I've been a customer at Vinzo's since they were a few doors over and Italian Village. They have some great Pizza. I'm a born and raised New Yorker; from Manhattan...and I would have to say that they have the closest Pizza to a real slice of NYC pie that I've had anywhere else. Except for Anthony's back in the day, but I've had two bad pies from the lately. I've had one bad pizza from Vinzo's and the next try they were right back on target. I mean listen, anyone can have a bad day/night. I've only ever done take out, but the service is friendly, fairly quick and the price isn't so bad. Do some Vinzo's!! Oh P.S. Antipasta and Greek salads...great and so is their Chicken Parm!! read more

Love this place. Excellent food and fair prices. Best sausage in town. This is coming from an experienced server in the business. Keep up the good work! read more

Vinzos is my favorite Italian resturant in the area. Roberta, our waitress is my Italian mama. She makes the dinning experience special.

We came to try after friends said it was good. They were right! I had eggplant parmigiana with chicken on top with extra sauce & it was very flavorful. My wife had a shrimp dish and she loved it. Sangria was excellent too. Waiter was attentive but not hovering. Atmosphere is nice & elegant, not a cheaply furnished place. So they have won a new customer! read more

Vinzo's is wonderful! A group of friends and I were there for my 40th birthday celebration last weekend and everything was outstanding! The food is so delicious, we got a couple appetizers and everyone got something different for their entrée and said it was excellent. The staff was so gracious to let us have our festivities and joked and laughed with us. We chose the place because it was close to where we were headed afterward and I would happily choose it again. read more

First time eating here and stopped in on a Groupon. The food was delicious and very well prepared. The only reason the rating is 4 stars instead of 5 was the service was a little slow. I appreciate the waitress not constantly stopping by the table and allowing us to eat; however we were the only ones at this establishment and we found ourselves sitting with empty drinks and having to wait an extended period of time for refills. Other than that, the food tasted amazing, it was prepared very well and the portion size was generous. I would definitely recommend! read more

Shockingly good for the location. This one's a sleeper winner just like the Colorado Fondue company a few doors down. Very nice classy decor inside, with two-level seating, especially considering this is in a strip mall that's getting renovated (and has been for seemingly forever). You will not disappoint a date there. The first impression walking through the door is nice. Had a shrimp and lobster bisque which was chunky and amazing, especially for $6. Also had a pretty standard cheese and mushroom pizza (about $16 for a 16" pizza, so nice price too) that had some sort of interesting sauce in it that was just amazing but couldn't figure out the spices. Very good stuff. The beer list is a bit weak but the price is right at $3-4 per bottle. They do have Peroni. Didn't try any wine, but the selection is decently broad for only being about 10-15 bottles, and with their most expensive bottle being $26, it's hard to go wrong. Good service too and has a nice family-owned type atmosphere without being overbearing. Very nice overall. I'll absolutely be bringing people back there. read more

Fantastic food and service. Lots of food (entrees come with salad and garlic knots). Barretta appetizer with fresh mozzarella and Shrimp caprese with sundried tomatoes were both fabulous. Nice cozy atmosphere for a date night or dinner with friends. Sooo much better than Olive Garden! A hidden gem in Casselberry and not bad prices either. read more

I have eaten at this restaurant several times for lunch, tried several thing on the menu and have yet to be disappointed! Large menu for such a small restaurant and yet they pull it off! The garlic knots are to die for! I haven't tried the pizza yet, so I guess that's next! read more

I eat here at least once a week. I live in the neighborhood behind the plaza and this is my go to place when I go to lunch. I've had everything they have to offer and have yet to be disappointed. The Mr. Alfredo pizza is amazing. I'm also a big fan of the tortalini. I've never had a problem with the food being inconsistent. It always tastes cook to order. The servers always greet me with a smile and make me feel welcome. If you're looking for something new to try in Casselberry, I highly recommend this place! read more

We got two pizzas, cannoli, antipasto, garlic knots and mozzarella sticks. The pizza was ok. We got Hawaiian, which a few slices had little topping on them and a ham and bacon which I couldn't taste any bacon if it was there. The antipasto was salad with meat on it, the garlic knots had no garlic flavor and the mozzarella sticks and cannoli were average. Definitely not worth what we paid for it. read more

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant for the first time using a groupon. This place was fantastic! Good service and great food, the shrimp and lobster bisque soup was out of this world. We will definitely be returning! read more

Vinzo's is a restaurant that won my heart! The food is consistently amazing. I can tell they use quality ingredients that has been prepared fresh. The portions are on the larger side and the pricing is great. I had their Pizza which was amazing even the next day. Side note: Loved the fact that the crust didn't get soggy or flimsy like other places!! I also had their chicken & salmon salads (Loved both!) You can't miss out on the bruschetta appetizer or their fried calamari and the garlic knots are irresistible. Eating in is a treat because of the cozy and classy atmosphere and the great staff that really makes you feel welcomed. If you're curious about this restaurant, don't think twice you will not be disappointed. read more
