Only wish it was a little larger so that I could find more selection in there. I also wish that some of the venders would stock a larger variety of items. But I suppose if they're selling for other people enough that the vender keeps the item in regularly then that's what's the most important for them.

The clothes they had in this store had holes in them and all looked very raggedy. The shoes they had were very well worn and each one of them had foul odors! What a friggin joke Plato's Closet in Layton Utah is- GO ELSEWHERE people!!! I saw many others walking out with the bags they walked in with too! And racism at its best here!! I signed up for the silver snake ring class and ended up taking one more class on making a copper bowl. Then on my next visit, I asked for a private lesson where I could design a copper bowl on my own and re-make my silver snake ring into a bracelet. The ring was gorgeous, but was a bit heavy for my finger. Now the beautiful light bracelet is just perfect! The abstract bowl I made is also very much to my style. But I certainly appreciated the technique Rene taught me in making the proper round bowl. Everyone in the shop is super nice, from the artist to front desk people, everyone is just warm and happy being. I highly recommend the classes in this place. So reasonably priced and so worth it!

A quick google search provided clarity on this owner's art style (his name was plastered all over ai websites), though none of his "paintings" were labeled as ai in person. It was quite laughable looking over the $400+ price tags on blown up canvases of rainbow elephants & tacky filtered photos alongside actual art pieces painted by true artists. My family ended up happily purchasing a few items as the other artist working was phenomenal, reputable & kind--just unfortunate that not everything in this facility is produced by a person. Please tread with caution & research the art you're interested in before purchasing, but continue to show up for the local artists that actually put the labor in.
