A local store in town that has a pretty large selection of wines, liquor, and beer. Prices is a bit high but not too gougy. Its a fun place to walk around to read the labels of the wines and beers. Picked up a few beers but since I can get it cheaper at Costco I didn't stock up. read more

This place, while expensive, is a wine lovers paradise. It's wine selection might be second to total wine and more in terms of overall what they have, but it's a bit more upscale. Prices are a bit high but overall will use here. Really solid craft beer selection, they have "other half" from Brooklyn which was impressive to see. Very nice high end place to find a lot of wine and beer. Their liquor selection is good but you won't find any hard to find whiskey or bourbon here. They had a store pick and said they randomly get them in. The prices are pretty standard which is nice. read more

This is my favorite upscale liquor store in Somerville. I come here all the time and will not go anywhere else, the staff there are amazing!!!!! you will not be disappointed! The prices are great! the store is always fully stocked, neat! and clean! Luis i believe is the manager of the store, i could be wrong but he's the older salt n pepper hair gentleman that usually is at the front of the store he's very personable and a kind man who has a wealth of knowledge on anything you may have a question about! Nice selection. However I drove 30 miles to buy an older vintage of JJ Prum Riesling that they had listed on Wine Searcher. When I arrived they didn't have the vintage I was looking for. When I asked about that and remarked that they had the older vintage listed on Wine Searcher; I was told that the general manager did not believe in updating vintages. As someone in the business; I can tell you that's unprofessional. Will not return. read more

I really enjoyed this welcome new addition to the Somerville dining and bar scene. The wines were top notch, the cocktails artisinal and the food was great too. I had the grilled octopus and the cheese plate and my wife enjoyed the beets and grains salad. The cheese plate was instagram worthy, if I was the kind of D.B. that took pictures of my food and posted them to social media. Anyway, returning to VintEdge, the space is welcoming and comfortable and well designed. You'll want to hang out for a while. The staff was eager and friendly and professional. I enjoyed two different red wines, which were both available for sale in the adjacent wine and spirits shop, and my wife enjoyed the Spanish Pear G&T (Gin & Tonic). All in all, very high marks and I'll be back for sure. read more

Just visited Wolfgang's Wine and Spirits in Somerville, NJ. I purchase wine, spirits and crafted/imported/domestic beer all over New Jersey. All different kinds of Liquor Stores, including BIG BOX named Liquor Stores (BR, BK, etc.), always looking for the best selections at the best prices. Wolfgang's Wine & Spirit is probably one of the BEST priced liquor stores with the most unbelievable BEST selection of wines/beers and spirits that I have ever been in. The staff is very knowledgeable and customer service oriented. I met Terry, Luis and Matt while I was there. They couldn't do enough to make sure that I got exactly what I was looking for ! I've been coming here for about 3 months now and ALWAYS have had a great experience. I stop in between 2-3 times a week for my particular beer and on this particular day last weekend ( July21) I was also picking up beer ( corona light) for my date. Later that evening when she opened her first beer and tasted it, immediately she said it tasted and smelled skunked. I was surprised because it went directly from the store to my fridge 15 mins later. I asked her to try another one and the same results. No problem, she had a glass of wine. Monday after work, I stopped in for my 6 pack and let the gentleman behind the counter know what happened and he said just bring it back and we'll make good on it, that it wasn't a problem. He also Siam that they didn't want to lose my business over a bad 6 pack. So today ( July 27) I went on my errands and grabbed the remaining 4 beers still in original 6 pack carton, and walked in the store. A gentleman I believe to be Matt was behind the counter and I asked him if he knew about the situation and if he was filled in on it earlier in the week? He acknowledged he did and the first thing he did was to ask me for my receipt. I laughed and told him I didn't have my receipt from a 6 pack bought last weekend and that I explained to him that I let the other gentleman know the next day and what the other gentleman told me. He said he couldn't do anything about it without a receipt!!! Really??? I brought 4 of the skunky beers back and all I wanted was another 6 pack to replace it!!! NOT A REFUND!!! Just replace the defective bad product that you sold me!! He still said that he can't do anything about it without my receipt even tho I explained to him that I was in the next day! After asking him for the store manager or owner, and after his rude eye rolls and attitude with me, he got the GM on the phone ( I believe his name is Luis) and explained the situation, Luis finally told him to replace it for me! So, I buy beer in your store and its skunked, explain the situation the next day and I'm told no problem, just bring it back for a replacement, and now I have to go through this? And just for the record, I told Matt that because of this, I will bring my business elsewhere because it's apparent that my business is not that important to the store and he said that's fine.. do what you have to do!! Great store, great selection! The most horrible customer service relations I've ever experienced in my life over a 6 pack! Someone like Luis needs to teach his help good customer service relations! Again... horrible terrible experience with this! Vintedge will NEVER EVER get another penny from me! There's liquor stores closer to my house in Raritan but I chose to patronize that store because the ppl were friendly and it's a beautiful store!! Matt JUST ENDED THAT FOR VINTEDGE!!
