I visited this shop with my daughter while moving her into an apartment for school. I'm not sure why so many people are saying it was overpriced, as I visit vintage and antique stores all the time and felt like the price is here were quite reasonable, perhaps even underpriced. The staff was warm and welcoming without being in my face the whole time. I found some amazing pieces and they were willing to negotiate on some of the prices. I just watched a video of a woman confront an employee (wondering if it was an owner?) about some racist dolls they were selling. They were IMMEDIATELY dismissive and rude and threatened to call the police. She calmly tried to have a conversation with them and they continued to be abrasive and unkind. The dolls were extremely racist and if you weren't aware, fine. But when confronted so kindly and respectfully with new info, DO BETTER. Learn to listen. Learn to be respectful. They sell racist items in their store, like black caricature dolls, and mammy items. when confronted they were nasty and threatened to trespass the individual who calmly asked why they thought it was okay to sell these items. it's important to know that they are racist, and to not give them your money or business. read more

visited with my mom on vacation, would never step foot near this place again. place is filled with overly priced items most were either broken in some aspect or just distasteful in general. made my mother very uncomfortable seeing racist black memorabilia being sold with no care to those it may offend. workers were pretty standoffish as well. just not worth your time read more

Stumbled into this little vintage shop after having had lunch at the bluebird Café restaurant next-door. Lots of trinkets dating back to pre-1900 to early 80s it appeared. The shop is covered wall-to-wall with vintage items such as pictures, clocks, telephones. Shelves are packed full with assorted of collectibles ranging from glass where to jewelry to miscellaneous collectibles. Found a couple of butter pats which I have been in search of. Husband found a Chipmunks Christmas album from his youth. prices range from a buck to $1000+ depending on the item. Many items such as radios or cameras triggered our memories from our childhood but did not take dollars from our wallet. If you enjoy poking around through vintage items or looking at a few antiques, this isn't a bad place to stop into. read more
